i love it when media boils the frog in terms of increasing inanity so you can get hit with the weirdest, most outlandish plot point but you're so accustomed to the smaller weird things you're just like "yeah that tracks". yes i am talking about a3.

imagine getting called in to work for your deadbeat father's old theater because the only actor is a goddamn anime protagonist and you'd rather die than see him upset. sure, that's a totally normal thing ig. then a national celebrity joins your dinky little theater. maybe a little unrealistic but hey, there's enough suspension of disbelief given. one of the teenage actors comes crying to you because they were set up to sabotage the theatre by your deadbeat dad's jealous ex former coworker turned rival and well you need SOMEONE to be an antagonist so you just pat his head and tell him everything will be okay. the rival troupe challenges you to an acting competition but your next lead actors have some goddamn communication issues that only arise from being former bfs that broke up awkwardly and haven't spoken in years, until they're forced into a timeloop and forced to actually talk about their feelings. only one other person is aware of the timeloop and it's the guy who can talk to animals. how did you get to this point. you don't fucking know. flash forward a few months later and you're being held hostage by a spy as revenge for the amnesiac narcoleptic actor in your company apparently being a former secret agent and allegedly murdering their other spy teammate.
