It’s very sucky but parents have to understand that their words can and will dictate the long-term relationship that they have with their children.

But on the brighter side, parents can change and come around eventually (like mine).

I think I’m very lucky that my parents are okay with me being queer and having a gf. They try their best to be accepting and supportive and I appreciate that.

ok so if we know it’s one movie reference (Bound), what if the concept is many movie references from 90s / early 2000s movies. why would it just be one reference is what i'm thinking.

for example, the little red dress megan is wearing is very Clueless. not a direct match but...

also the "drag" that sophia and lara are in (just wigs and suits) kind of reminds me of Charlie’s Angels complete with the dominatrix whip/stick that Lucy Liu uses in that scene.
