Its February 23 2017 and I just passed my NBCOT exam....now what Here is my blog about starting my life as an adult who just leveled up. Im gonna give some advice that i have wished someone would told me in my first year..so here it goes Also I will answer any questions about how i prepped for the exam

BE prepare to wait … because your at the mercy of how ever long your state will process it.

I’m hungry to start doing things I love to help people and also …to make steps towards being more independent with a good pay check(let’s be real.. I work for 10 an hour right now)

I wish I did some research on all the requirements 🤔

It was a good thing I work in healthcare already all my background checks are done as well as BLS(CPR) completed.

I PASSED

I'm going to be honest with you, I wasn’t one of the lucky ones who passed my exam the first time.

I was never a good exam test taker to begin with.

Don’t let anyone tell you or make you believe that you SHOULD pass on your first attempt because it is unrealistic.

There are plenty of GOOD-no EXCELLENT Therapist out there who didn’t pass the first time.

THIS IS WHAT IS WHAT YOU SHOULD TELL YOURSELF

I made it this far for a reason.

I got accepted into an OT program, I spent countless hours and late nights completing work and writing long papers, memorizing splits and treatments and developing treatment plans.

I GOT THROUGH LEVEL 1 And 2 FIELDWORKS AND SURVIVED.

I AM capable of beating this test
