Upgraded the front brakes with Toyota brakes from a 4x4 pickup.  I also had to upgrade the master cylinder with a 15/16 from a 280zx.  Swap wasn’t that hard. Had to trim the dust shield and swapped the brake lines while I was at it.

American Legion Post 214 1st Annual car show and Dodson Dig Co.

Small show but it was for a good cause.

Fan controller stopped working so I’m replacing it.

Cars and coffee upstate SC. I have started going every month.

Headlight covers installed.  They def aren’t a very good fir out of the box. I thought my headlight bucket was warped and ended up picking up another but the lenses were way off. Had to trim them with a dremel.

Wheels on.

Bought a BRE style spook spoiler.

Cleaned up and painted the vintage Western Wheels that I picked up a while back.

LED headlights installed and paint finished.

Made some hood vents out of lexan. My stock vents have broken studs that I have tried to repair a few times. They always ended up broken.

Had the windshield replaced and removed all of the other windows to replace all rubber seals in the car. Also time to paint again. This time I’m going black and bronze.

Engine in and now installing my car alarm and power locks.  After seeing a few peoples car stolen in some of the Facebook groups and some cars in my neighborhood getting broken into I decided it would be a good idea. So I picked up a Viper security system.

Engine swap.

Got the engine installed and everything went together pretty easy.  Not to bad for doing all the work myself.  I did end up having issues with the harness on the coil packs.  The previous owner had the engine in a 280zx. He ended up having issues with the turbo and I’m wondering is its due to the having the connectors swapped. The coil harness had the #5 and #6 coil swapped.

Got the inter cooler in and the pipping mocked up. painted the cooler black. and everything put together.

Got my radiator in. picked up some silicone hoses that ended up not fitting to well. Bottom hose worked out. Top didn’t and ended up using a stock rubber hose.
