does anyone speak korean/japanese?

I have a few japanese volunteers but to lessen the burden I’d like to have a few more people I can contact once in a while. 

I’m writing a comic about a biracial korean girl and I’d like to translate it eventually to korean and upload a SFW version to places like Webtoons. The NSFW version will be on my website. 

I also have a voice actress who does lewd audio for my patreon and I want her to do it in multiple languages.

This is going to sound wierd because of the type of profile this is but i like the art style and I was wanting to get in to drawing myself, what would you recommend for someone starting with no past experience?

I don’t think it’s weird. My focus is obviously anatomy. It’s not like I’m doing anything differently than a “normal” artist other than choosing to draw questionable subject matter. I still had to devote years of my life to learn how to draw just like they did.

Anyway, start with the basics. The fundamentals. Anatomy, perspective, color theory, etc. There’s so much to cover and it can get pretty boring/overwhelming, but the artists who push through that and master those things are the ones who become the Miyazakis and Craig Mullins of our age. Read this and take what you will from it. It’s a great start especially if you’re broke as fuck like me.

That’s not to say you can’t make a living if you wing that stuff. Plenty of people do if they find their niche, but it depends on how far you want to go with your art. The more you are capable of, the more you understand about the world around you and why things look the way they do, the further you can push your craft.

Some people are just not going to like my approach to things. That’s fine. Call it what you will. I’m just being honest. I think hentai can be more than what it is. When I think about artists who push the hardest, who pursue crazy projects, and continue to practice daily even though they’re an industry professional (like Craig Mullins), I don’t think about H-artists.

Does that mean I think they’re shit? No, there are plenty who work harder and are better equipped than me. But it doesn’t change the fact that it’s just easier to be a H-artist. Just ask Toshio Maeda, the “creator” of hentai. Here’s a video where he talks about why he became a hentai artist.

Without pressure and tough competition, you don’t grow as much. If that conclusion makes me unlikable, so be it. I like people who represent the best of what they do. If you disagree, challenge my ideas. Let’s talk about it.
