and i’m screaming. im drowning. there you are, just standing there. too busy worrying about the water up to your knees that you don’t see i’ve gone down under. i can’t breathe and you stand there. laughing. you seem to point your finger at me and tell me it’s my own fault i can’t breathe, not the water’s. every wave hits me. i can’t tell if it gets worse every time or if i have just taken these hits countlessly they don’t effect me anymore. i lay floating there as i continue to get pummeled in hopes that i’ll find my way back to shore. you don’t bother lending a hand. i’m almost dead now but you have no idea because the water is too your knees.
