i have been trying to be more involved with my faith (hellenism) recently. i'm using the calendar on the hellenion website, and today is devoted to lady artemis. while walking to my bus, i saw my neighbor's cat, who i haven't seen in a couple months because it's been cold out, and i got to pet it for a bit before my bus showed up. artemis was thought to be able to turn into a cat. idk if it's a sign from her, but lady artemis, please protect my cat and keep it warm.

Being genderfluid and GNC, the phrase “you can do whatever you want forever” has really helped me. I can dress however I want and still be any particular gender- because I can do whatever I want forever

Idk if this will make sense to anyone else, but my genderfluid experience is either one of two things. Like water trying to freeze in a freezer on a day so hot it makes that a slow difficult process or ice melting on a very cold day. Basically slow to change from one to the other, but still changing.

I have no idea if this is the right place to put this but I think genderfluid is the best way to describe myself but I also am unsure if I'm just better with being nothing or unlabeled or whatever you would call it. And also if anyone else is having the same problems and it helps them idk. I feel like my gender is never going to stop changing. But I also have a terrible problem with telling myself that those feelings aren't real and I'm weird and crazy for feeling it. Anyway I went from being transmasc and really wanting and believing I was a he/they kind of fem boy and I was like 100% sure that was me. Then I realized a couple months ago that I was still basing my identity on my attraction to men and centering them instead of myself. So now I have done I wouldn't say a complete 180 bc I still feel connection and somewhat jealousy when I see trans men but I think that is because I was never supposed to be one, and I was just attracted to them and felt like the only way I could be comfortable being with a man/masculine person is if I was also one. But now in the past couple of months like I said I have slowly gravitated back towards being nonbinary/feminine and it is both confusing and embarrassing because on one hand I don't want to continue to try to be something I'm not but now I've spent the last couple years coming out to everyone as trans and he/they and now I feel like my gender is like "hey time to change again lol". I just want to stop feeling like I'm never going to know who I actually am. Sorry for the long wall of text btw.

Hiii!

The thing is i wanna write a gerderfluid character (oc for a fanfic) and while my gender sometimes kinda feels fluid i don't really use the label and can't base this character off my own experience (cuz my gender kinda fluctuates between nothing and some sort of enby) so i'm asking the genderfluid people:

How does it feel when the gender fluctuates between more drastically different identidies like from man to woman or go between the demigenders etc... esp for those that use both the 'he' and the 'she' pronouns (ofc i'll go thru this blog too cuz i bet there's some useful info in there too:)))

And one more thing: if you'd ever read a story that has a genderfluid character, what thing would piss you off a lot? Like what are the BIG NOs?

everyone's experience is different, but for me, the more drastic changes can happen like i was feeling really feminine and just put on a full face of makeup to suddenly feeling really masculine and now it's making me disphoric. i didn't think they're are and NOs, but something's to keep in mind:

• clothes/makeup do not equal gender. masculine people wear feminine clothes and feminine people wear masculine clothes

• gender can switch whenever, wherever. it doesn't change every day or it could, but it's rarely consistent.

Hey, im 17 and i just figured out im genderfluid (i think, not sure yet) and i want to tell my bestfriend friend but i dont know how, i mean i know she will understand and accept me but i just dont know how to tell her, and the only person i could have talk about this was my genderfluid uncle but they died some years ago so i dont really have anyone else to ask about this (Sorry for any mistakes english is not my first language)

you could find a celebrity who is genderfluid and say "i'm a but like them." when i came out to my mom, i used the example of the one person from the acapella group pentatonix.

is it weird if i choose to just pick my birth gender when doing job applications e_e i dont visibly look trans/genderfluid most times (money issues and no social support atm) sorry i just have this constant nagging thing in my head that im faking it cuz im not visible

nah, you're not faking it. if you feel genderfluid, you're genderfluid. you don't have to be out to anyone you don't want to be
