This zine is a collection of works by fans of the "Fantasy Life" franchise and will be available on the same day Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time releases on May 21!

Hi, yes the zine is still active!

Apologies for not posting an update on social media about the new timeline schedule, but we are projected to release the fanzine on the same day FLi launches next month.

We will be posting more announcements in the coming weeks - please look forward to it!

Thank you all for your continued interest! We have updated the fanzine production plan document with a section featuring recent questions about the project.

With any relevant future questions we receive, we will update the doc alongside the post under the cut!

Q. Do contributor applicants need portfolios of past works?

A. No. We are not requesting applicants to submit any portfolios.

Q. What are the approximate canvas dimensions for illustrations?

A. Page illustrations may be expected to be sized at 8.5” x 5.5” with a resolution of 300 dpi, with the exception of spot illustrations.

Q. What are spot illustrators?

A. Spot illustrators are contributors who draw small objects or scenes that do not take up a whole page and may also compliment the contents of a written piece (i.e. fanfic).

Q. Can ships cover NPC/NPC or is it only NPC/player characters?

A. Yes any SFW shipping content is allowed but such pitches will go through moderator approval.

Q. Can contributor pieces focus on NPCs?

A. Yes, pieces may focus on NPCs. We do request contributors to submit at least one (1) piece with their player character included.

Q. Can contributors use personalized designs for armor/equipment?

A. Yes, contributors may use custom designs for armor and equipment when working on their pieces.

I like to make my own version of the Life uniforms (eg add frills, change the cuts, add different symbols, change design of armour, etc). Would it be ok to use these changed versions in the zine?

Yes, it is okay for contributors to use personalized equipment designs for this fanzine!

one question: should the contributed pieces focus on our player character or can they focus on npcs like yuelia, laura etc. too?

Yes, pieces may focus on NPCs! We do request contributors to submit at least one piece with their player character for the fanzine.
