Whew, it’s been a tough nearly 10 years in this season. What’s crazy is without searching for it, the answer was in front of me 4 years ago. I just wasn’t able to accept it. I wanted to keep face and keep my family together. Even if that meant staying in a family that didn’t entirely accept he for who I am. Flaws and all. I have never been happier than when I’m with him and the crazier part is that he’s Salvadoran too 🙄 I was terrified of being with him after my last experience but I had to understand that an ethnicity isn’t a monolith. I don’t want people to classify me as “ghetto” and difficult just by me being a dark skinned woman so I can’t classify all Hispanics as full of pseudo-machismo with unaccepting families. This man has completely renewed my trust in humanity and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. #blendedfamily #lmbw #swirllife #loveislove #bwlm #mysweetlove
