Bogdan is the oldest of 10 children! Olga is Bogdan's Mum and George is Bogdan's Dad, Laurentiu one of Bogdan's brothers joined them today. For many years Bogdan was hospitalised about every two weeks, he was constantly sick and crying. At one point the family had to send Bogdan to a psychologist to speak with someone as it was really hard growing up, right now he is 26. Dr's told Olga that Bogdan would not live past 7, it's the love and care of Mother, Father and Siblings that has kept him flourishing as he was very sick many times. Olga wept as she described the judgment and scorn she faces from members of community for having a child with a disability but also for having 10 children when normarily people have just 2-3 children. Olga's husband recently had a lung operation and got a blood clot afterwards as a result he had to get one leg amputated, he is also receiving a wheelchair today. For Bogdan right now this wheelchair helps him to be more mobile before he could't go to seaside or mountains. The only view he has had is from his village. Now the family can go travelling. Bogdan hasn't ever seen mountains, only the town he grew up in and the Dr's surgery over and over, there's been no opportunity to see other things. Other young people his age have been to see such things on school trips. 8-10 or years ago Bogdan had another wheelchair. It now doesn't fit, the wheelchair also didn't fold. One year they didn't have anything at all, they had lift him up always during that year. When asked what Bogdan enjoys Mum and Bogdan both relayed back how social Bogdan is and how much he loves music and especially football. When he was younger Olga used to commentate on the soccer and that was the only way Bogdan would eat! He would not eat if Olga did not do football commentary! Bogdan's favourite team is the national team from Bucharest. Right now he is watching every game In the European championship. Germany is Bogdan's favourite international team. Germans, Bogdan relayed are best because of their sharpness they are better then Romania, now Bogdan commentates on all the games and he comments that he could have play a lot better many times than the professionals. The family heard about the distribution through a neighbour who attends a church and shared it with them as the neighbour knew their need.
