How to video script:
Our aim here is to celebrate the good times (and the bad times!) that we experience in the fine city of Melbourne and beyond in a uniquely audiovisual and interactive manner.
In order to create this community we need you to contribute:
You will need:
facebook or twitter account
a YouTube account if you want to add video-based memories
Tip: All these sites are easy to sign up with by simply clicking the sign up button on each site.
Step 1- Through your twitter or facebook account visit our page to view our memory prompt, which will be something like: 'What is your favourite childhood memory of Melbourne.'
Step 2- Share your memory in either of our four easy ways:
Via text, which could be as easy as commenting on our facebook wall or tweeting a response.
Via image or audio visit our webpage and click the map tab. 1. Once here click 'add' and put in the details of your memory, give it a name and address. 2. Then click the media tab. 3. From here click the 'Choose File' button to upload a photo or audio from your computer.
Via video 1. either sign up or log into your YouTube account. 2. click the Upload link. 3. Select the file you want to upload. 4. Once the video is uploaded copy the video ID, which is within the URL of the video.
Tip: in the details part of the map form think about giving your memory a year that the memory took place and perhaps give it a brief description of why it was a good/ bad memory.
Step 3- Click the SUBMIT button on the form.
Step 4- Watch the content grow and visit our blog for our favourite memories.
Step 5- Re-visit our facebook or twitter for your next prompt.
Step 6- Keep adding content and watch our community grow.
