I love "A Writer". Do you mind if I ask if it's auto-biographical/personal or largely fictional?

It’s a little bit of both. The auto-biographical part of it is a requirement for some of the fiction to work properly. For me, it allows the letting go of past events a much smaller pill to swallow. It is, truly, a form of therapy. All I do is kill the person I want to lock away in the most vile (and sometimes unnecessary) way I can think of. It’s tricky, because the person who is being killed should somewhat resemble the actual person you want to let go of, but it has to remain ambiguous for your own safety.

Of course, the flip side of the process is making sure that when I do kill those “people” in fiction, I’m not breaking the law by show of true personality of characters in reality or endangering any other person with information that might be sensitive to that person. If you, anon, decide to undertake this to help yourself, I would advise caution where it applies. Of course, though, I would encourage you to go “all out” with it.

I would ask why you chose to remain partly anonymous in asking me such a question, but I have an inkling as to why on two radical and rational accounts.

I hope my syntax is alright here! If you feel the need to ask any other question, please do not hesitate. Also, there’s no need to use the cover of darkness that anonymity provides. I like to follow the people who show interest in my writing.

You call me abusive? Yep, because I liked you (slightly) and my imagination got ahead of my rational brain (an imagining I never acted on). Yes, I'm abusive because I saw what I wanted to see in you and it bothered me that you decided to tell me (CONSTANTLY) about yours and Elliot's platonic/romantic kiss-on-the-cheek/maybe-we'll-fuck/when-i'm-drunk relationship. As if that wouldn't hurt my feelings after pouring my heart out to you. But, oh, right, my feelings scared you, made no sense, and therefore I was left an even shittier person than before, even after I introduced you to my best friends and included you in my social life.
