Outotsu Yume ver.0.03 has been released. Both characters’ rooms have been completely remade, maps by Question Mark and FD have been updated, and aesthetics have been improved as a whole.

After some technical issues with our 8chan site, we have finally made a complete move to Discord! You can now send in contributions and other materials easily, and also chat with fellow OY fans! Please read the rules after joining and before posting.

(We apologize for the late reply.) We are working on launching a Discord for Outotsu Yume so that people can contribute materials and maps. Until then, you can just send a PM or an Ask with a link to your submission.

Regarding /outotsuyume/ and the 04/01 8chan Hack

We deeply apologize for not telling our followers about this, but 8chan was hacked on April 1st, 2017, deleting their databases and causing them to have to reupload them one at a time. Our board has not yet been recovered after the hack, and it is unlikely that it will be back up in the near future unless we make a request for the site to be reuploaded, which could likely take a long time to both communicate and backup.

However, this does NOT mean that the project is over. We are considering a complete move to Discord and are already working on it. Making a new board on 8chan is unlikely, as the site has been shady and vulnerable enough to begin with. We are looking forward to the future of this community, and will continue posting updates in our progress. Thank you.

EDIT: We have moved the links to all versions of Outotsu Yume to the Yume Nikki Fangames Wiki. They were previously near-impossible to find after the hack. Again, thank you.

Regarding Recent 8chan Issues

Due to events regarding the 8chan site outside of our control, the /outotsuyume/ board (and many other parts of 8ch.net) is currently inaccessible, now only displaying “e0001″. The source of this error is unknown, but we will keep you updated.
