Hello everyone! I am v excited to be here. I’ve had this character for quite some time so I’m excited to get back at him again and throw him at all of you :) Let me go ahead and introduce this shithead.
First of all this bitch hates being called Steve so if you want to cause his soul to die a little inside that is a surefire way to do so. Unless he’s close with someone he won’t comment on it because he was raised to be polite, but it’s one of his biggest pet peeves because it makes him feel like he’s someones crazy uncle. His whole life he was raised to be Stevie by his friends and family, which he for some reason thinks is better than Steve (I disagree).
He is bisexual, and openly so. He’s been out since High School, which was difficult due to being from a small town in Tennessee. Since then, he’s developed a thick skin and has learned to be comfortable in his own skin. He’s confident, although he wasn’t always.
He is the oldest of five siblings and has a twin sister. Still older tho.
Steven comes from a big, supportive family. Raised by his two parents, him and his four other siblings grew up tight knit. However, they struggled financially for the majority of his upbringing. Their parents always made sure they had what they needed, but they grew up with little extras. He appreciates the simple things now as a college student, and knows how to be frugal with his money and how to make a meal cheap.
It was his parents assumption that he’d go to college, and he applied for lack of any other plan. The truth is, he still has no clue what he wants to do with his life. His Mom in particular was so excited that he got into Radcliffe, and had told him she would pay for his degree, which he was initially against. But he gave in because he didn’t know what else to do, and at least it was making his parents happy.
The thing is, Stevie genuinely does not enjoy being a student. Quite frankly, he’s not great at it. He skips class to hang out with friends or go do something he perceives as fun instead. When he does show up to class, he can’t make himself concentrate. He’s managed to get this far with C’s, and he’s just biding his time until he’s finally done. He doesn’t exactly have the best reputation with the professors, but he tries to sweet talk them and is respectful when they try to talk to him. That can only get him so far, though.
He is extremely active and is often seen fucking around on a skateboard, or heading off campus to go hiking. He has a lot of energy and that’s the perfect way to exert it. Plus it’s just fun for him, so if your character is friends with him expect him to try to drag him off on some stupid adventure.
He’s very personable and loves parties and likes to show up whenever there is one. Just a simple brodude out here trying to live his life.
He’s a communications major because, duh. He likes talking to people. But his real passion lies with making tik toks and short YouTube videos. He doesn’t have an extremely large following, but he does have some viewers. Though most may just confuse him with Logan Paul.
He can be very sweet and generous to people, but he also may be perceived as someone who doesn’t take things seriously or doesn’t care about important things. He can have a one track mind when it comes to things important to him, though, but people may not always see that side of him.
Last but not least. The love of his life. He has a singular pet rat named Ratthew that he keeps in a cage hidden in his dorm room. The rat is going on 2 1/2 years old, so he’s an old man rat at this point. He doesn’t broadcast that he has him out of fear that he’ll be confiscated, though. When he originally adopted him, he had taken in a pair of them, but Ratthew had turned out to not play so nice with others. They would fight constantly, until it was realized he would just need to live on his own. He rehomed the second rat to someone with others that were actually friendly, and he kept the demon rat for himself. Stevie gives him plenty of attention and toys so he stays stimulated, though, so he lives a happy life despite staying his secret.
Honestly, anything! I am down. Best friends, rivals, someone who tutors him in classes, exes, flings, someone who can’t stand him and it drives him crazy so he tries to befriend them anyway, classmates, people he shoots his YouTube or Tik Tok videos with, etc. I’ll make a full connections page soon, but for now come at me with ALL the things. I’m down for suggestions always!
