tristan smiled softly, his words momentarily escaping him. ‘thanks’ didn’t seem sufficient, nothing did actually. because he literally wouldn’t be able to do this if not for ant. “i think i’m just gonna email my TA and call it a night,” he said reaching for her hand. “and worse case scenario i’ll work on it in the morning.”

she grins softly as his attention is turned towards her, and she wants to encourage that behavior, but also knows she needs to make sure he’s putting his schooling first. she gently intertwines their fingers as he reaches for her hand, leaning down to give him a quick kiss. “are you sure? how much more do you have to do, if you get it working?”

“i mean adults go there on a pretty regular basis, so i don’t think anyone would think anything.” there was a slight shift in the mattress, but tristan still didn’t move, too sated to even ponder what the brunette was up to. “technically, the water park’s a different park, but they’re in the same place.”

“are we going to go to the water park?” she abandons her search of her backpack, deciding that she must have left her goods somewhere else. it isn’t a big deal - there’s more where that came from anyway. “hey - rub my back will you?”

“uh, well. there’s rollercoasters and shit, games – they’ve got like characters, like batman and looney toons but i think that’s more for the kids… it’s a lot of fun though. there’s a water park, and this drive through zoo thing. i’ve actually never been to the one in jersey, just the one in new england.”

“characters? damn. i don’t know what people are gonna think if they knew i was going to a place with characters and a water park, shit.” she sits up, naked body stretching back slightly before she’s reaching down in her bag to pull out her special bag, getting ready to light up again.

“i mean, having less classes next semester is nice an’ all, and i love spending time with you — but this shit…?” tristan gently leaned his head on top of hers, putting his pen down. “my program literally isn’t running, and i’m trying to work out an equation and see if there’s something i missed? but i think i did everything right and it’s just not working…”

the female looks down at his work, and absolutely none of it makes sense. at first she had tried to learn alongside him, so that she didn’t fall all that behind, but his programming made no sense to her. it was a blur. but she still smiles, tilting her head to kiss his cheek. “i’m so proud of you.”

“what d’you mean? six flags is like — the best place on earth.” tris lazily flopped an arm over his face, eyes closing as he spoke. “not literally, but it’s a ton of fun for kids of all ages.”

the female mimics him by lazily throwing an arm over her still exposed stomach. “i’ve never been - my parents said it was a waste of time. what is there to do?”

hi!! so i just needed to say something to people who are still reblogging that post about whiteswashing post. SHE MADE A MISTAKE. if you would go to her blog, you would see that she acknowledges that she made a mistake, that she didn’t do her research, and she has apologized repeatedly. WHY IS THIS NOT THE GOAL? y’all who are bullying her in the tags of the post are bullying and that does not help your cause. what helped your cause were the set few who kindly messaged her to explain the problem, not the ones who are jumping down her throat and bullying her. she worded it wrong, that post is not what she went, she has apologized. you have run her away from her blog despite the fact that she APOLOGIZED, RECOGNIZED HER MISTAKE, AND CORRECTED IT. why do you have to bully her? at what point does the bullying become worse than her mistake?
