post/135867677003/ I can probably help clear this up. If I’m guessing right and you’re talking about the entire “foot”,  it might make you feel better to know that’s not a foot at all. Unlike humans, many animals (as are the dragons on the site) digitigrades, meaning what we call a foot on our bodies is actually part of their leg! If you stood on your toes you would get the same affect, and if you look at Pipp, you’ll notice her feet are quite small, because it shows how the leg is different.

I hope this helps at all, and maybe gives you some closure so you don’t have to be tormented by a lair of fae feet

…that’s… almost the *opposite* of how digitigrades work. digitigrades just have really big feet and walk on their toes. that’s what that word means, even. see this picture explaining how digitigrade skeletons(particularly horses in this case) work using humans as a comparison:

the comparable bones are the same color between the horse and the human. the hoof is a fingernail for the horse’s fused digits, and the yellow and green bits are toe bones. the blue bits are the tarsal bones(the foot version of the carpal bones in the hand). the purple’s the ankle, and the knee is where the green and brown meet!

so in the picture @owl-pellet altered, what they have labeled as “leg” is the tarsus! fae DO have huge feet -and if you take a look at the other dragon species, they’re *all* designed like this! I’m not sure why fae got called out specifically for it.

@crazyauntiek I know I probably worded it wrong, but that’s basically what I just said. We’re both trying to make the same point. What I mean by “not a foot” is that they merely don’t use it for walking. I’m fully aware which bones in animals coincide with the bones in humans.

I even used a similar example- “f you stood on your toes you would get the same affect”. As for it being the opposite of how digitigrades work, I blame my wording again. I know that the tarsal bones in a fae are equivalent to our feet, but I don’t consider them a “foot” because they’re not walked on in digitigrade animals. I don’t see humans as a “default” like many seem to, so instead of seeing animals as walking on their toes, I see it as us walking on what is their leg.

Rest assured, I definitely know HOW it works, but sometimes I have a hard time wording things correctly. I did enjoy looking at that handy chart you linked, though. It’s really interesting how different animals have such similar anatomy even though we all seem so strikingly different.

I apologize for this wall of text, but I really wanted to clear this up before people wrote me off as someone who doesn’t know anything

Should I be concerned?

So I have a friend who played FR for a while, but hasn’t been very active on it. So today they gave their account to someone but before doing so sent all their money to me. I know I wouldn’t get in trouble for their account sharing but I am worried the staff will think I’m multi-accounting, since I’m the only one on their friends list. We live very far from one another and don’t share an IP address though.

You wouldn’t get in trouble for them giving you money, but your friend will probably get in trouble for giving away their account if staff finds out.

(Yeah I know when Crow walks into camp it magically changes seasons oops. Disregard that it's totally winter) An unfinished video I made for Crow (or Crowflight) one of my warrior cats ocs detailing some of the time between getting kicked out of his own territory and establishing himself in SunClan. Since the SunClan rp community is coming to a close, I felt it would be better to upload this incomplete than not at all.

To my fellow members: I have greatly enjoyed my time roleplaying with you, and I hope to stay in contact with many of you even after the group is closed completely. I hope you enjoy this video, as it is my first "AMV" type video.
