reblog if you love Terry G
So that’s the first time I met Terry. That would have been summer of ‘63. He was quite a charismatic character really. He was small and dark, and he had quite a striking face, someone you noticed. To start with I thought of him as a slightly intense, thespian sort of character - be wary. But of course as soon as I met him and started talking to him I realised that Terry was very funny and friendly and generally easy to get along with… we became very strong friends. There was definitely an original talent there - I wasn’t sure what it was… Terry seemed to have his own integrity and his own little world which he carried around with him and there was no one really quite like him.

May 5th, 2014, Happy Birthday Mr. Palin!
Thanks for being such a nice and wonderful person to the whole world.
April 30th,1974, first day of filming on Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Tuesday, April 30, Ballachulish
First day of filming. Woken at 6:45. Sunshine streaming through the curtains. Into chain mail and red-cross tabard. A difficult day today - the Bridge of Death scene where Eric and I die and Lancelot is arrested by the police. Dangerous too - from what I hear. Difficult decision over Galahad's blond wig. Instead of noble and youthful, I look like I should be serving in a supermarket. End of Galahad as a blond.
...Camera broke midway through first shot.

Put together we formed almost one completely mad person. Everybody was mad, but in a slightly different way, each had his own element of madness. But together we made this perfectly mad person.

Happy birthday Graham Chapman !
Miss you and your pipe.
My Pythonite buddy James tagged me with this brilliant picture on Facebook. He loves to ruin me, doesn’t he?
I had my head shaved for six months. That bastard Gilliam. Pure sexual jealousy. I also had false teeth made, horrible ugly false teeth. I look a real wreck in that film. Didn’t get laid from that one, that’s for sure!

Terry Gilliam had Christoph Waltz shaved too while filming The Zero Theorem. That is Dr. King Schultz's hair and beard we are talking about! And we all know how beautiful Eric's hair looks at that time.
Sexual jealousy? Or does TG secretly have a thing for shaving beautiful blondes?
Just think about it.
Now (1966)
In case you didn't know, Michael was playing the piano in this scene.
