I am back from the hibernation so it’s time to re-introduce myself.

I am Owlmoss, in this sweet little pile of things you’ll see my doodles, mostly revolving around rainworld-related topics and my OCs. I won’t post on a regular schedule, but I’ll come around every once in a while. Feel free to come and drop a word.

Double chimera revenge attack on @sznycelekshapedcreature

I like drawing characters that are just.. doing things.

Girlcat is hoarding a whole shopping bag of pastries (that include garlic baguette, regular baguette, loaf of white bread, cheese sticks, kifli and a strawberry bun).

And Nadia Loom worked overtime again and stayed up until morning.

So, basically I went for "feeling like home". Enjoyable

Drawing small metal trinkets is fun. Drawing unusual faces too. I am not too happy with a colors though. Either way one more revenge into my collection >:)

Okay so.

"It's so cool to be the one to post first attack on a character on artfight". And I thought—why not? I'm a little too nervous about tackling the other attacks I'm thinking about right now—I'll do something new. And since I saw it on you blog the choice was made.

Tempered Waters.

No information. Not on the toyhouse, not on the artfight profile, not here on tumblr either. Interesting! So I trust my guts on what to draw then.

First associations? Water. Flux. And something ephemeral—either literally (the first sketch was about weightlessness) or figuratively. As can be seen from the result, I went with the latter.

The character? Seems detached. Seems to be not feeling quite right. In one way or another.

The design? I love draping fabrics. Five layers of clothing, one of them with a pattern, even? A little too intimidating, but let’s go for it

Great! Two-hour job, right? Wrong— eight hours. (But it was fun)

What an opportunity to draw draping fabrics again and experimented with how they behave in different conditions. Here, for example, in water. And practicing drawing the water itself (the most painful part)

And a little fun fact: while I was drawing, I've put together a short temporary playlist to keep me in the right mood. I don’t know if I’ll keep it, but here’s the link for now. Not super-sophisticated, just good enough to stay in the right mood.

I’m keeping a close eye on this all and hope to hear more about Tempered Waters one day to know what's her story really is

Here goes another one, for @morebagels. Got posessed by demons to draw the sky background. Pretty happy with a result. And, just as another attack, tangentionally related to the sun theme.

Here goes the first attack for @rybieradio

Really glad I've read some lore and Brzask's bio before getting into it. Yay to the local sun's lore. And also kept thinking about the Courier by Daite Tank.

The whole song is about a person carrying a sun across the city and it starts out like this:

A courier carried a huge sun through the city. His clothes were burning, but night became day around him. And winter became summer, yet everyone avert their eyes from his gift. Even through sunglasses - too bright to look at. His strange cargo glittered; and he was no coward. He walked through the courtyards, uncaring of pain. Teachers probably taught him that in school, they said "The most important thing is willpower. Remember, the most important thing is willpower; And the rest is a matter of taste."

Back from my temporarial desintegration from this world. A finished comm for @yngya-evil. It's her human barbarian OC named Ygritt. Orphaned by the dragon passby she'll have a chance to leave the past behind. And have some adventures in the process too.

I am helping her out with comic layout about her btw! Fun. Drawing curly hair is fun too

Self reposting because I've been advised to add a background to this piece. I've been said that slice of life drawings can greatly advance from having a proper background and I guess they were right. I like it even more now.

It also was the first time i drew interior background and I think it turned out quite well.

Migration

I don't think vultures fly in flocks. I think of them as of strictly solitary and very territorial birds of prey. But maybe the cold weather will lead to temporarial truce. Onwards - to seek place where the cold hand of winter hasn't yet reached.

Initially I was going to draw a new vulture from the Pyramid mod trailer by Fishnoid. But so far i am not satisfied with the results. But hey - it was such an opportunity to sketch something lineless. Haven't done something like that for a while.
