We are SO sorry for the silence on here! We’ve been primarily active on Webtoon and have all had so many things going on in our lives we completely forgot to update you guys here!

Hello, readers!

We wanted to make an announcement that the team of Owl Nest will be going on an urgent break. We will be on hiatus from June 23 - September 1. In short, our team is experiencing several problems from internet issues to a sudden change in living situations. All 3 of us are dealing with incredibly stressful and somewhat sudden stress, one of the causes being a 3 month deadline to be able to meet an increase in rent or else we will have to move. We won’t list everything going wrong right now for our team, but the snowball of bad news has put us all in need of a break so we can focus on figuring things out.

We firmly believe Owl Nest is a comic worth continuing and worth reading. We love this project and want it to be the best it can be. So, in short, with so much uncertainty and stress going on it can’t thrive. Our hiatus is NOT cancellation. We will not be disappearing. Owl Nest will continue come September 1 and we are looking forward to returning to it with fresh eyes.

We appreciate every reader so much. Whether you read on Webtoons, Tumblr, or Patreon, we appreciate and see each and every one of you! We have big plans for this comic and, again, we are NOT cancelling it. Just taking an emergency hiatus.

The best way to continue to support Owl Nest during this time is to remain following us on Webtoons so you can continue reading when we return.

We appreciate your understanding, support, and love so much!

We look forward to seeing you after this difficult period of time.

Hello! I wanted to ask do yall have like... heights for all the main characters (Lin, Shiloh, Gesh (both forms), and Shimmer?) I found a post that had their updated range of heights but not individually and was curious for potential fan art purposes 👀

Also we've only seen Shimmer's arm transform, can you say what kind of cryptid she is or is that a spoiler (or did I miss it)? Thanks! Love the comic so far thanks for sharing!! ♡

Hi, Wolf! Lin is 6′2, Shiloh is 6′, Gesh is 8′, and Shimmer is 5′8″. The funny story behind why everyone is so tall is actually because of Gesh. When I made Gesh I had him as this unusually tall man because he was a cryptid. That was all fine until the rest of the cast turned out to be so much shorter than him with average heights they couldn’t all fit in the panels together. So, they all got bumped up! Also, if you draw fanart we will all cry and look at it for hours. As for Shimmer, she is a goat-type cryptid! We’ll be showing off her full form soon! Thanks for reading! <3
