Jasper in the Crystal Gem Swap AU? Absolutely the one that was entirely dependent on Rose’s leadership. Well, not so much leadership as “her orders”. Consider Rose the main Captain while Jasper was the tactical officer. Unless Rose veto’d it, Jasper was technically in charge while Rose supervised.

Even though they fought for independence? Jasper never really... got it. She was still loyal to a fault to Rose to the point where she’s barely functional afterward. Just... does what Rose last told her to do. Protect Steven and the other Gems. So that’s what she does, without much deviating for bonding or anything of the sort.

This would change after the first time she fused with Pirl, because that’s... not something you did. Being so stuck as a Soldier, suddenly doing something that’s so wildly taboo would be freeing to her in a way. She’d still be herself, though she won’t be nearly as.. standoffish.

Jasper would try bonding with the others after that. The episodes about Garnet’s fusion issues and such? Replaced with Jasper trying to figure out herself after Rose’s death, since she’d instead be taking Pearl’s “absolutely devoted” aspect despite being the most direct Garnet parallel the group has.

Do you think all quartz come out full baby mode like Amethyst did if they don’t have anyone around to program them or whatever the process is?

So like, if Jasper got rejuvenated, she’d be this big dumb giant baby waddling around and running her head into doorways because she’s too tall, or just straight up busting down walls since she has no concept of a door.
