He'll claim he does if you ask him, but he thinks the concept of soulmates is kinda bullshit.

16) What is something about them that people would not expect just by looking at them?

God where to start... the fact he's predatory? His abject cruelty and apathy to the pain and suffering of others? His existence as a broken, hollow person?

30) Is there something they secretly wish they could do but are too afraid to?

Shape his own identity. Miele has grown up under constant unending scrutiny, he built his facade by watching and learning what people liked, what they didn't, what earned him attention and let him slip under the radar when needed.

There is an idea of Miele Alarie, a concept, but he does not truly exist. He is nothing more than a collection of microtrends and mirrors of people more likable than him.

Sometimes he wonders what he'd be like if he'd grown up "normally". Better? Worse? Would the followers spamming the egg emoji in his comments section receive vindication?

Hm. Better not to dwell on it.

Argus used to be a hardcore gamer! This man was a menace in COD lobbies.

"Argus? Loud, obnoxious, and somehow more of an asshole than I am, which is saying something. I'll be nice and call him the 'brother I never had nor wanted, but he's here now'. It's nice to have someone to talk about whatever fucked up thing you can think of with, and it's far more easy to talk him into most things than you'd think.

Minus letting me get into his pants, of course. The dumbass still thinks he's straight. Yeah right.

Favorite word I would use for him would be... reckless. No, foolhardy. Don't tell him I said that. If you do, he might need to grab a dictionary which will only put me in the doghouse. Relationships between two completely normal friends, am I right?"

On one hand, he naturally runs hot which makes summer a bitch. On the other hand, he grew up in Texas and could NOT handle a frosty winter.

Warm weather wins because it gives him an excuse to wear tank tops.

Oh my god he has so many pet peeves. Like so many. All of them. Chewing with your mouth open? Walking too slow? Leaving crumbs everywhere? He wants you DEAD.

7) At a bar/tavern/pub are they more likely to buy someone a drink, or have someone buy them a drink?

The latter for sure. Very few people will see Locke and decide it's a good idea to ply him with drinks, but he is a massive cheapskate and getting him to buy anything is like pulling teeth. Actually pulling teeth would be more pleasant.

22) What is their highest physical stat (strength, stamina, defense, speed, etc) and their highest non-physical stat (intelligence, perception, charisma, luck, etc)?

For physical, it's probably constitution. This man consumes poison on the daily, he could probably drink battery acid and be totally fine.

As for non-physical... I wanna say wits/wisdom? Something along those lines?

30) Is there something they secretly wish they could do but are too afraid to?

Sometimes he wonders if he should take a break. Put his career on hold, try out something new, maybe just laze around at home. Halson can't do that, though, he can't take the chance that people may forget him, that they'll move on.

40) Is there anyone or anything that immediately instills fear in them?

There's a very specific tone his mother uses when she's preparing to go scorched earth. Even in his 30s it still sends a shiver down his spine.

Yes! Argus still has the first knife his father ever gifted him!

VERY unhappy. Do you think he's stupid? Do you think he can't handle the truth? If you're lying about this, what else are you lying about? Can he even trust you now?

He's already paranoid by default, being lied to for ANY reason will only make him feel like he needs to be even more suspicious.

10) What is their favorite memory from their childhood

She was around six years old, it was evening, and she was on the back of her neighbor's calmest horse, trotting around a paddock with her neighbor wandering alongside Lien and allowing the little girl to chat their ear off about how much fun she's having and how she wishes she could have a pet pony.

27) Have they ever witnessed someone die?

A few farm animals, yes, but never a human. She hopes she never will.

40) Is there anyone or anything that immediately instills fear in them?

There's a particular type of truck that always puts a pit in her stomach. Even moreso if it's being driven by a middle aged man. It no longer gives her panic attacks, but it does still put a pit in her stomach, especially if they're driving a little too slowly in her direction.
