Ozpin didn’t bother concealing his chuckle at the statement. It was befitting that the Atlesian professional would fall into line with the more typical stereotypes associated with the place (not to mention a level of order was almost a requirement in order to gain James’ favour). He did however faintly wonder under what terms the doctor had spoken with the General about him. Surely nothing below surface-level, he trusted James implicitly in that, but he couldn’t help wondering under what banner his name had come up in conversation.
A faint smile played over his features at the thought that perhaps the General had attempted to give the doctor some form of warning regarding him for this trip. How amusing that would be......
“You would be correct in that, at least to some degree. I feel that, as much as order has its place, it is only through stepping outside of our boxes that we may come to our greatest achievements. Here at Beacon, we seek to encourage creativity in all forms in hopes to not stifle any of our students so long as safety can be kept in the process. It may lead to a few.....complex situations, but I feel that ultimately what we’ve achieved will well worth a few mishaps here and there.”
A mild glance was directed at his companion, checking in on his facial and body cues every once in a while. Professional Atlesians tended to be a little more difficult than others to read, but Ozpin had lifetimes of practice in the art and was certain he’d find tells eventually.
