Eggs ran through the streets, before slamming into Snatcher. He went pale as he stared up at the man. He slowly started backing up on his back. He tried to get up, but he was so paralyzed he could barely move.
A scratchy, deep, and overall unpleasant voice rose from the very bottom of the greasy red-hat boss’ belly.
"What do you think you’re doing wearing that box, young man, and what do you think you’re doing out and about at this hour?"
He hid further back under the wagon, scared to death.
It soon became evident that the grimy behemoth of a man was leaning into the crate to reach him, unknowingly tilting it more and more as he did so. Maybe this was the perfect escape!
Eggs took his opportunity and ran as fast as he could, he ran off onto a rooftop to escape, climbing a stack of crates to get there.

"Stop I-" he said, in an angry whisper. He started to wonder if they were somehow BOTH telling the truth. This ‘other Eggs’ sure seemed to be tellling th e truth. Suddenly the streets lit up. "hide!" he gasped to the other forgetting their argument for more urgent matters. "Just—- hold on to my goggles, for now, just..hide!” with that he ran to a wagon and crawled under it and watched to make sure the other was safe.
“Listen you-” Eggs stuck his finger out at the other… ‘Eggs’ angrily, trying to look tough. He knew he was bad at it. Fragile always made fun of him for it. He was actually quite sad he wasn’t able to finish his sentence due to being cut off by the other’s sudden exclamation. However, he was glad. He had no death wish of any sort. He quickly dived into a trashcan, using the small cracks in it to check across the alley if the other Eggs was okay. What a strange way to think about it. ‘Looking out for himself.’ He stared into the eyes of the other, stiffling a laugh. “This is so stupid,” he murmured.
He waited until Snatcher was gone before getting up and walking over. "I'm not wearing a mask" he said and yanked at his face. "Seee, this face is mine"

He sneaks up behind Winnie with something behind his back. He quickly stuffs a box over Winnie's head and hides. It's labeled "Winnie" in poor penmanship, and has a little tag that says "You're one of us now"
Yelping slightly in surprise, she looked down at the box. A small smile formed on her lips when she read the little tag. Winnie spun around, expecting to see her friend there. “Eggs, where are you? Come out.” She called when she didn’t see him. “This is darling, you’re too sweet, you know?”
He quietly smiled and watched Winnie to see what she’d do next.
Putting her hands on her hips, Winnie looked around trying to figure out where he could hide. Noticing him hiding behind a nearby trashcan she smirked. “I can see you, you know.” She states, walking over to him.
Oh crud.
He snickered and crawled out. “How do you like your present Winnie” he laughed. He hoped Winnie liked it.
She smiled and hugged him “I love it, thank you.” It was easily the most genuine gift she’d ever gotten. She kissed his cheek quickly as a little showing of thanks.
His eyes widened. "What was that?" he asked
