So Spain’s Euro qualifier match against Azerbaijan is actually going to be televised on TVE 1, only the biggest national television channel in Spain. I hadn’t actually dared to believe it until I could double check it for myself but yes, this historical moment that I’d only ever dreamed of is in fact becoming a reality and it almost brought me to tears

The match views were so successful that they’ve decided to show today’s match on the channel as well rather than a smaller subsidiary one. The growth of women’s football we’re living in Spain right now is amazing
