Hi. I turned 28 today around 07:00 in 1993. Sorry I took all night to pop out mom. 😂 Half my age ago I started dancing. I don't have much to say. Day 1826... It's been half a decade that I've been with you. We've had 5 years of memories: laughs, tears, cuddles, kisses, hugs, photos, farts, walks, and talks. You've been nothing short of simply... Amazing. I mean that with every fiber of my being. Thank you. Thank you for listening to me all these years. Thank you for laughing at all of my dad jokes. Thank you for crying with me on date nights when I make you watch rom coms. Thank you for letting me vent about my days when they're too much to bear on my own. When my days are bad you're the one I want to come home to and call right away to cry to. When my days are good you're the one I want to come home to and call right away to share good news with. You're the one that I'll never give up on. We're not perfect, but we were tailor made for one another. We're in such different parts of our lives today contrasted to when this all started. Sometimes it feels like you'd be more proud of me if I died. It's one thing to be treated this way for doing things wrong over and over again. But to be treated this way when you're doing everything right, hurts, a lot more. I've always battled against suicide and you're the reason why. You're the main reason why. If I ever did leave, it would be because of the words and actions you didn't "mean" to say and do.
I was caught up with all the festivities of cooking with you @erikaleila_ yesterday so I didn't get to post. You don't always have to post about everything that happens in life. Valentine's is honestly no more special than any other day. I treat you with the love and respect you deserve everyday because I'm in love with you. Wow. We graduated @erikaleila_. We made it. We've made it many times and this is just another milestone. Think about it. We finished one cycle of high school. When I think about it high school felt like a long 4 years. But with you it's felt like an eternity. In the best way possible. I feel like I've done life with you for decades because of how many memories we've made with each other. Every kiss, every hug, every hand held, every good morning, every good night, every weird face, ever fart, every prayer, every disagreement, every laughter - all of it feels like a lifetime when I try to collect the memories in my mind. It's been a crazy couple of days of just spending time with one another ever since my finals ended. Three days ago was our official three year anniversary of me asking her to be my girlfriend. We were able to just spend the day together at the aquarium and Downtown Disney. I know we've both been super busy studying and doing our own thing but the quality time we had was much needed. We've been through so much the past three years but with every up and down Jesus has brought us through it all. I've seen you grow and mature from the woman I first met into the blossoming godly woman you are to this day. I love the way your heart speaks of your kids from kids' ministry and how your heart exudes Christ-like love. Please never change. Never stop laughing with me. Never stop farting with me. Never stop flirting with me. Never stop praying with me. Never stop worshiping with me. Never stop loving others with me. Never stop pursuing Jesus with me.
