I drew this some time ago. I was originally planning on drawing all the poses in detail, but lost interest.

So, it has been a longstanding belief of mine that originally Metroid Other M was written to be a prequel, and it had a hasty re-write that left in a lot of the elements, and as such caused the story to be a confused mess.

So in order to try and help popularise this theory, I thought I’d make a comic fix-fic to prove my point!

Unfortunately comics, especially sci-fi comics, are a lot of work, so I ultimately decided not to finish the project. So instead I’ll just post my storyboards and unfinished scripts here. I’ve put some commentary on a few of the pages, so click them to take a look.

Please forgive the super-hasty artwork, and if you want me to prove that Other M was originally meant to be a prequel.... I WILL FUCKING PROVE IT.

I need to learn how to line better. As it is what I do is just whittle down the sketchlines, and it’s a bad habit to have. So for the next little while I’m gonna try a few different lining techniques.

A doodle is really just that, a quick draw-up of indeterminate quality, though I’ll probably try to at least clean up the more prominent sketchlines. $2.00

Lines require a bit more thought and care. I’ll also put a lot more detail into a lined picture. $9.00 ($12.00 for cleaner lines)

A colour picture is exactly what it sounds like, a coloured version of a clean-line picture.

Additional details:

If you only want a headshot, the picture will be 50% off the marked price. I’m still working out the cost of backgrounds, though I’m willing to do non-complex stuff for free at this point (gradients, simple objects, etc.).

The cost of extra characters will vary, but you can expect it to be an extra 20-30% of the initial cost.
