Work in progress watercolor painting. This a view of the Teklanika river in Denali National Park. Before summer the road is open to private vehicles (during the summer access is only given to buses and those traveling on foot). This year the road was open until mile 30, where this river crosses the road. Even though it is the middle of April, the river was still frozen and we were able to ski several miles up the river for a quick day trip.

The Tangle Lakes region lies in interior Alaska, along the Denali Highway. Upper Tangle Lakes boasts whimsical purples and reds during the fall. This print, Tangles Lakes, is available in multiple sizes in my etsy shop.

These works consist of landscape paintings and studies completed within the last year.

My most recent work, a departure from my “formal” education in medical Illustration, is a documentation of my time spent in the 49th state: Alaska.
