Okay…? Let them lol. I don’t beat myself up for believing people were acting in good faith, and I definitely don’t beat myself up for owning my mistakes. You’d be surprised how much stuff people who actually follow or know them send me (I probably wouldn’t have even found out about it if someone here didn’t actually follow M 😅). But I’m definitely going to be a lot more careful about what I believe from now on, and I definitely won’t be sharing any of it anymore.

Okay… I owe you guys an apology 😭

I got an ask a few weeks ago questioning why I never talked again about the brunette girl that Arch supposedly posted on his story, and I said I never brought that up again because I didn’t really know if the IG story was real. Some of you may have noticed I’ve been avoiding answering asks that specifically mention Arch’s comment on ML’s post, and that’s because I started feeling like something wasn’t add up about this one too. The SS of Arch’s story in particular always felt really fake to me, which is why I didn’t even talk about it initially, and when I did, I said to take everything with a grain of salt. But I didn’t really think I had any reason to be suspicious about the other one.

The thing is, I checked ML’s VSCO recently and recognized the picture from the IG post he supposedly commented on, and it had actually been posted back in August 2024. So I knew something was off, and either they were lying about when he commented on it, or the comment wasn’t real at all. I got questioned today by someone who actually follows her about what post it was because they follow her and there’s no comment by him anywhere. I asked them to send me the post on her IG with the same photo as the fake screenshot, and her real post doesn’t even have the same caption. From what they said, there’s no comment from Arch on it.

Honestly, the part that upsets me the most is that I literally had a feeling from the beginning. I even talked about it with some people in private 😭 But my blog is super small, Arch’s fandom is also not that big, and it’s not like this was going to end up outside of Tumblr anyway, so why lie about it???

Anyway, I’m deeply sorry for helping spread something that wasn’t true. It was never my intention, and I don’t want anyone making assumptions about Arch or anyone around him based on a lie. I definitely should’ve trusted my intuition from the get go. Every time I don’t, I end up regretting it, but anyway… lesson learned.

In all honesty, we don’t know they’re situation at all. Maybe they are dating, maybe they’re just friends, maybe it’s a situationship, maybe he’s a cheater. WHO KNOWS?! We will never know the full extent of his relationship with any girl he’s associated with. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, all are valid. NO ONE is delusional. So far I haven’t seen anyone say anything that is completely far fetched. The fact is, we will never know so let’s not get our panties in a twist yall

Exactly! I can totally understand the reasons why some people think they’re dating and why others don’t but at the end of the day we’ll never really know unless they hard launch the relationship or Arch actually decides to talk about it

So they have been hanging out like this in prior years? I thought this was the first year.

No, it’s not the first time. I’ve been sent photos of them together on trips from 2022, 2024, 2025, and now 2026. I’m willing to bet that if you do a little digging you’ll probably find photos of them together from the other years too.

There are pictures of them traveling, some with their high school friends, celebrating her birthday, videos during Mardi Gras… If I’m not mistaken, their 2022 trip was also to the Bahamas just like this year. And that video of Arch during Mardi Gras this year (the one of him, MD and another friend) is basically a recreation of a video they made back in 2022 and it was taken at his parents house in NOLA. There’s also a photo on May’s Instagram from a couple of years ago during Mardi Gras where you can see her too. So yeah, nothing new…

What would you consider dating for them? They don’t seem to be serious, but definitely more than friends. They always get really close during this time of year and then during the fall and winter, they seem like just friends. Would you consider a situationship type of thing to be dating, because they’re giving situationship. I also find it so funny that he’s in between MD and ML again lol what are the odds?

Isn’t a situationship or being friends with benefits a type of dating? Genuine question cause I think the language barrier might be playing a role here. In my mind when I say the word “dating” it could go from just be talking and going to dates to a serious relationship.

My opinion on them hasn’t really changed from what I’ve said before. I think there are reasons to believe they’re dating, and there are also reasons to believe it’s nothing serious or that they might just be friends. Personally, I lean toward thinking it’s more than a friendship, but I could absolutely be wrong. The only thing we really see is that they spend a lot of time together during spring and summer break. It’s not like we’ve ever seen them doing anything that friends wouldn’t do, like holding hands or kissing, as the previous anon mentioned. In any other context if I saw a guy taking someone on trips with his family, I’d be convinced they were together and that things were getting at least a little serious. But because they’ve been friends basically their whole lives, they always travel together around this time of year, their families seem to be close, and we know he’s been single in between, it just leaves one big question mark.

There’s also a very real chance he’ll spend the rest of the year completely single while she’s living in a different state, and then next spring and summer break they’ll be seen doing all of these same things together again.

I don’t think this photo really changes anything tbh, we already knew ml was there. They’re not any closer in the pool photo than they were in any other photo or video (they’re not hugging/showing pda). I stand by my original thoughts and think they’re more than friends but not serious
