I'm actually fuming and in tears over the Chip and Dale portrayal of Bobby Dristol. What an absolutely heinous and disrespectful movie. Peter Pan is like the one thing that I am the most close to, be it the Disney version or the book. It is my oldest and dearest hyperfixation. I just feel so attacked but more importantly I feel obscenely sad at this massive show of disrespect to Bobby.

What an absolutely heartless movie. I refuse to watch it. I beg all of you not to watch it.

to my self shippers out there who deal with any sort of disability or illness, whether mental or physical: your f/os love you. period.

yes, some things may be harder for you, whether it be things like putting on clothes or even finding the energy to leave your bed — even so, your f/os will always love you, and they’ll be willing to assist you if you need them to. they will never view anything you struggle with, whether it be depression or something like chronic pain, as something embarrassing to hide or shameful to talk about. never. their love for you is not “despite” your ailment, either.

your disability does not, and will not, affect how much love and care they feel for you. you are just as loveable to them as the day you got together, no matter what it is you may be going through right now.

regardless of if you may be “difficult” to deal with, regardless of if you need extra accomodation because of it, regardless of if you have a different routine than most: they love you. their love for you does not hinge on how “easy” you are to deal with.

and for those who have had themselves be invalidated over it: your pain is real and it’s okay to struggle. it’s okay to not be super strong and independent. it’s okay to not have high energy all the time. they know, they’ll be there when you need it.
