My friend has told me that Prince could be really nice & friendly, that he has brilliant sense of humour & that he liked pranks too so I’ll include the funnier things she said before to me (and I got her to tell me more positive/funny things about him as well):

   Prince & Carmen, when on good terms, once went outside on a sunny day when recording her album to play basketball & both of them were wearing exceptionally high heeled shoes. At one point when Carmen had the ball (& was losing) Prince just lifted her up, put her on his shoulders & got her to shoot till she scored. He kissed her real cutely once she did.   Once after a gathering/party/event at Paisley, somebody found a lost little kid inside Paisley & Prince actually sat down & played hide and go seek with this kid for about an hour till his parents came back to get him. She said that this kid then started crying when he had to leave & Prince gave him his own signed basketball to keep.   

At a concert in Chicago this girl in the audience was wearing a nice jacket that Prince had taken a shine to so he asked my friend to go ask her where she got it. Well this girl actually took it off & said that Prince could have it if he liked it. It was really fancy, all silk and lace trim. Somehow he found out her name & her address & sent her huge bunches of flowers as a thank you everyday for weeks

Pranks were something I was like initiated into because Prince would lose his mind laughing if he got you. Christmas, my first year, he knew we were opening alotta mail so he went & zip tied shut ALL of the scissors in Paisley so all the staff were just stumped. We had to buy more scissors to free the old LOOOOOL. Prince was crying cause he thought it was so funny & so did we. Another time he put a huge life-size cutout in the ladies bathroom at the Park, & me & my girl Kathy when we went to lock up were SCREAMING cause we were so shook!! 

Another time he set off the fire drill during this strange as fuck heatwave that came outta nowhere one year. We were wondering what in the blue hell happened & having a motherfucking heart attack thinking about any sort of fire damage in Paisley. Suddenly Prince fuggin SPRINTED past us down the corridor yelling that he was too hot to handle & that we should evacuate the building. LOOL. He gave us all the whole day off & I remember I took my little sister & my nieces/nephew to the park which was real nice of him.

Jill Jones was the Prince girl who got the RAWEST deal. Prince fucked her over many, many times until she finally left for good. Her voice was off the chain & she had a lotta talent but Prince & she squandered it. I heard when they first met (through Teena Marie, may the Lord rest her soul, lovely chica) Prince used to firstly refuse to claim her in public which was usual for him back then. He also used to just grab her & fuck her in the men’s toilets at First Avenue around Purple Rain I heard & didn’t care who knew/heard ‘em. This shit right here makes me feel ill as fuck cause those bathrooms are disgusting & if you ever been in there you would know. Now I know her album was another royal flop once again due to poor promotion & Warners issues & it was real bad timing too (sad cause it was really good, Jill can actually SANG & Prince as usual made it real well produced), then she was in Graffiti Bridge as Prince’s last resort & I know that I read that she tore up the script in the airplane, threw it every which ways & ran to the bathroom when she realised that Prince cut her part even MORE & gave it to Elisa Florillio to sing instead (she was another fucking latina, no talent, barbie dolly), her assistant had to go all over the plane getting the pieces back. Damn! During filming Prince was sweet as pie to her & straight after of course he did not even look at her twice. She was reallll fiery though, wasn’t afraid to criticise & bitch/whine about ALL his moves/decisions & so breaking all the rules Prince has regarding his lady friends. In fact, one day on the set of the movie she & Prince got into a shouting match over her costume she was meant to be wearing which was really a glorified hooker getup! Shame, cause she just wanted the best for his stubborn ass but all that heartbreak learned her

As far as I know, the apartments inside Paisley (there was a few, although Prince’s house was right nearby anyway) were pretty decent sized & amazingly furnished. Prince has a real eye for style & yet his stuff never looked tacky. I knew one room had a queen sized round bed with white & purple silk sheets (lol what else) & a huge mirrored ceiling above it (kinky mofo!!), a giant fireplace as well as amazing white shag carpet that was about 10 inches thick! That one he used to used to use most. His actual house away from Paisley I heard was similar as well, luxurious without being over the top. He would have also have like amazing drapes & silk scarves & different amazingly patterned fabrics all over & he would have a million candles & incense in the most fabulous custom made scents. It was all shadowy & mysterious. Sexy! I got the impression that he likes to engage ALL of the senses & boy, did he make an impression on people!

Wendy got drunk on the set once & grabbed Apple’s titties as a joke & both Prince & Lisa were real upset but Doctor Fink was laughing his head off. SAY WHUT!!?? Maybe though that is why Prince started docking/fining his band for drinking in public, Wendy in particular like he did in ‘86. Makes sense from what I heard!

Prince started going out with Susannah & would go from filming straight to her/Wendy/Lisa’s house to see her. He also bought her a little kitten when he heard she wanted one, he sent his other assistant & Lori to find one for him. She called it Roger (Prince’s middle name) & he also got a pet cat later on & called it Scarlet which I KNOW was true cause I was at Paisley & looking after it

Here is some info regarding Prince & his beef with Rick James that I got told. Prince hated how Rick treated women physically first of all, cause you already know his experiences of violence & abuse in his family. Second, Prince didn’t really sweat Rick. not musically. Prince used to be (& still is) real quiet around men, especially ones like Rick cause he would ALWAYS get the shit ripped outta him for being a shortie/feminine/weird like I said already & Rick took every opportunity to do that which made Prince hate him & avoid him. LOL Prince would come out in little bikini drawers & wiggle his ass & dick! 

Also, people mistook the silence & withdrawal for Prince being arrogant (he was, but not like that haha), Rick used to drink & drug mainly & focus on the music second as well which bugged Prince so much that he vowed to outdo Rick in performances/success & he surely did. Rick said in interviews that Prince’s success really bothered him & this is a quote I found: “I always felt our competition was healthy, although I was jealous when he started getting big, more than jealous, I was pissed.. because I felt his songs & a lot of his stuff wasn’t real.” One time, Rick STOLE Prince’s synthesisers (which he all programmed himself, barely anyone could do it to that standard at the time) & recorded Street Songs with ‘em. Rick then sent 'em back to Prince with a thank you note. Prince just shugged his shoulder & ignored it although he could of called Rick out for it. 
So, we think that he hated Prince cause he was trying to take his place & ignored him instead of confronting/responding & for trying to steal his show. Also, he hated that Prince was well liked, especially when Prince & Teena Marie became buddies & also when Jill Jones joined the purple camp too. Stealing Vanity & forming Vanity 6 was the last straw!“

Vanity apparently developed her full blown coke habit later on after Prince, but she did alleged have the occasional toot with Morris before Purple Rain & Prince was so mad about that shit, no wonder considering his views on drugs. That’s probably another reason he kicked her ass (or should I say slapped) to the curb. Also, do you know that he once nearly fired Lisa & Fink on the spot for smoking weed on the 1999 tour!? I heard that the song Pop Life was partly influence by all that drugs stuff, the line “What you putting in your nose?” & so on

As for Kim Basinger LOLOLOLOLOL. This was my first year at the Park in ‘89 & I saw this shit play out (& yeah, this all was during the time when Anna was living with Prince for the moment but not legal) Now one of Prince’s favourite movies was 9 ½ Weeks (Did Mickey Rourke’s character remind you of someone??) starring Kim. Then, he met her on the Batman set (he did the soundtrack), he did his usual magic on her & she was obsessed with him real quick like so many before her. Prince convinced her to do an album & shit, they kicked out all the engineers & whatnot & just fucked in the studio & recorded it, which is what you hear on the record. There was honey every which way all over the console which they had to clean off & the record came with a jar of honey too!! Typical of Pookie’s funny ass. Kim was clingy as fuck, she was Prince’s shadow for like a month, I had to even go & buy her tampons which fuggin killed me. My coworker Janet also said they she caught her & Prince fucking on his weight bench in his office & there was a pretty suspicious looking mess on top of the purple piano in the main hall which indicated they did the nasty there too. Oh my damn, I was just like wow. But then yeah, I didn’t know that it was her brother that took her or that she left him for Alec Baldwin but I do know that she left Paisley real sudden, left all her stuff & shit. We had her car towed away too. I’m guessing that they got sick of each other & she split after saying no to being the lead in Graffiti Bridge. Prince banned us from even mentioning her name after. Prince though, also later on, offered to help her financially when she got sued for pulling outta her movie, I think it was called Boxing something. He helped to design the dress she wore to the Oscars in '90 too.“

Now here is some more info she got from Prince’s bodyguard at the ‘86 American Music Awards & she ain’t never told anyone all of this before so consider your ass lucky, you the third ever to get this info! Sandy had to organise his limo (Prince & Susannah had a BIG fight that night & Prince didn’t bring her) & she wasn’t there, but her man at the time who worked security for Prince, James (BIG ass dude!) said that Prince was being followed backstage by DIANA ROSS & she was flirting hard with him, touching him & she kissed him! RIGHT on the corner of his mouth! BUT he was flirting back!! At one point, he had his hands around her waist & he was whispering something real nice & juicy in her ears too cause James said she was blushing & giggling real hard, & apparently after she introduced him live that night, he kissed her on the cheek, she pinched his ass!! He was laughing about it after! MY damn, I don’t even know what to think about this, I coulda sworn Diana was team Mike LOL! But Sandy ain’t never lied & the way she rang me up to tell me this all… Gawd I think Christmas came early as fuck this year!

Susan was Prince’s girlfriend just out of high school & her parents apparently hated Prince cos he was black & her momma is Indian (East Indian) but they came around once they realised Prince was (relatively) rich & famous. We went back to find all of them waiting outside, Prince and his girl went their ways, and Duane, my two friends and I went home. He loved to fuck with us like that. And, as I lay in bed, all I could think of was that stare. What did it mean? was he jealous? I’ll never know, but I’ll tell you this much, I’ll never forget it.
