A love letter to the game that saved me during 19 of domestic violence and abuse. Through it, I assumed the role if the hero I felt I needed. The one I wanted to be.

May is mental health awareness month, and I wanted to share something a bit personal this time around.

As I journeyed alongside others, I grew and changed for the better. I learned I didn't have to run from my demons all the time, and that sometimes I could just outsmart them.It was my beacon of hope in a world of pain. A seed of growth that incited change.

Communities like that of critical role with all of the critters have further solidified my growth and recovery. I cannot thank everyone enough for that.
