its been a minute since ive posted here. my main socialmedia of choice nowadays is bluesky, so id reccomend following me on there if you want to keep up with my stuff!

this song was a commission for metavandetta23! (they also made the sprite art in the background :3) this track was SUPER fun to work on! i never thought i'd make my own version of rude buster, but it was interesting trying to recreate the vibe of that song with a more western aesthetic there are a lot of undertale yellow motifs hidden throughout this, try and find them >:3
I would like to see more people talk about how jobs treat disabled employees.
I used to prep, wash dishes, and cook at mellow mushroom. I had chronic pain that wasn't NEARLY as bad as it is today, but it was still very debilitating. I told my employer "i cannot stand more than 4 to 6 hours. I CANNOT do shifts longer than this due to my illness." And even though i made my boundaries VERY clear, everyday i worked it was 8 hours at the least and 10 or 12 at the most. I would go up to my manager and say "look i really need to leave, my shift is over, my chronic pain is killing me." And he'd say "we really need to here, you HAVE to push through." And so i did, and after one, ONE month of that job my crps got incredibly worse to the point where i could no longer walk my dog around the block which was .5 miles. I quit, and that was FOUR years ago, and ever since that day I HAVE BEEN BEDRIDDEN AND HAVE TO USE A WHEELCHAIR. It is my biggest regret in life.
My best friend who has seen my whole journey has recently developed undiagnosed chronic pain, and she is in the EXACT same scenario i was 4 years ago. Busting her ass at a pizza place with extreme pain that hurts her so much she tells me "im in so much pain i don't even feel like a person." She doesn't feel LUCID. And her manager and coworkers are saying the same thing "if you don't help us you will let us down, we'll be in the shit."
That job thats hurting you isn't fucking worth it. I promise you no money is worth losing all your physical abilities and never getting them back. Your coworkers and boss do not give a shit about you, so don't you dare suffer for them. They will never understand your struggle and they will never try. They truly think being understaffed is worse than whatever pain you experience. They would rather you permanently damage yourself than inconvenience them. FUCK THEM. DON'T FUCKING DO IT!

the basic concept was "fountaintale dess and stella have a girls night party at toriels house and it gets very out of hand"
we never ended up making the comic but i think the most funny thing from it was the crackships we came up with:

i have been shipping these two for a long time and i do not remember why. i think it genuinely started just because rv pine joked on seperate occassions that they both smoke weed.
anyways in the comic they were like a married elderly couple who dont have sex anymore, they just exist and smoke weed together and cause mischief.
TORIEL (deltarune vers) x CEROBA (undertale yellow)
toriel switched teams after the divorce. she and ceroba were gonna get way too drunk and probably do freaky stuff. i like the idea of the ceroba and tori being wine moms
STARLO (ut yellow) x ROOK (deltarune ozymandias)
im gonna be honest. in the comic there was an arc where rook finds out that there's a GIRLS ONLY party and gets jealous and makes a BOYS ONLY party which ends up absolutely terrible because noone there has any chemistry. out of nowhere rook and starlo would just start making out and its never explained because i thought itd be hillarious
PAPYRUS (undertale) x MARTLET (ut yellow)
there was another ongoing storyline where papyrus just kind of shows up at the girls night party uninvited, but because he brought homemade snacks everyone lets him in and loves him.
camelia lets martlet try weed, so she does and then immediately gets incredibly anxious. of course camelia and eska proceed to bully her by taking the birdcage from kris' room, putting it on her head and repeating "polly want a cracker" over and over
papyrus would be the one who ACTUALLY looks after her and makes sure shes okay after that. i think itd be a very one-sided crush from martlet though cuz i cannot see papyrus as anything other than aroace LMAO
we had a ton of dumb ideas for this stupid fufking comic, maybe itll see the light of day someday

Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.
This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):

Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.
But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:
Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
Meditation
Martial arts
Sports in general
Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
Woodworking
Cooking
If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers
Things can be easier. You might always have a disability around this (I certainly always will), but it can be easier. You do not have to be this stuck forever.
