Headcanon: the light and dark have different versions of the myth of ahrima and the lamps
- in the lightâs version ahrima was just a man and not an angel that was gifted powers by the angel nidria, who fell in love with him. He decided to create stars to show his love for nidria. Nidria is seduced by the spider, barayas, and falls in love with him. This angers ahrima so he destroys the stars. And then the rest is basically the same as the first act.
-since ahrima himself lived in the dark and passed down the story, this version is more accurate to the first act in the musical. Over time the âlampsâ(which I headcanon to be stars) are mistaken for actual lamps since people in the dark find the concept of natural light(the sun and stars) ridiculous
-toba the tura, in the light, is portrayed as a peace maker and judge. While in the dark, toba is seen as a fierce warrior
-in the darkâs version the Oracle came ahrima in a dream, while in the light the Oracle has a physical form.
