The Dark of Nights [Closed Vampire Verse]

In a sleepy town not far from an old castle lies friendly folks who goes by minding their own bunnies, now this town is famous for a lot of thing, fresh food, spices, rugs, etc. But the reason they’re famous is that this is the capital of Vampire hunters. All the greats come here. Some castles have vampires, but different kinds. One of the girls in the town was Cherish, who was no more than fourteen years old. She is the only human who knows that Vampires shouldn’t be hunted down but kept that to herself. Her mother told her to go to the neighboring town to get some herbs, Before she could leave, her mother gave her a cross telling her to be safe. Cherish rolled her eyes and left the town heading to the village.

It was dangerous being a vampire along this city, as everything, and anything could kill you. So many vampire hunters are around this city, but within the light, they still remained. Dogging, and killing vampire hunters was something of a past time for this vampire actually, he didn’t exactly like killing, nor slaying anything. He usual hunted rabbits, and other animals. He usual staid within the wood, or to the other villages where he wouldn’t be hunted.

It sastified him at least, or stole some blood actually, but that was it. Leaning agaisn’t a tree, he then smelled a human along the village, the sweet scent of her made his teeth bare. A hunter?! 

Looking around the corner, he then jumps up towards the branches in the tree’s, and looks at the woman. Gently keeping an eye on her, watching her like a cat watching a mouse move. His red eyes gently watching, and examining.

Panchito looked around, as he kisses her forehead, and walk with her, as he then looks around gently. “That sounds like a good idea.” Walking down the sidewalk, he then saw Straberries being sold by a merchant. “Hey speaking of Strawberries!” He said poinitng at the merchant. 

Cherish felt the kiss on her forehead and before she could let out a giggle she saw the strawberries “Loo kat how red they are” she said tugging him to hurry up. Cherish looked at all the different types of strawberries “So many, so little time”

Feeling the kiss a goofy little grin came upon his face, as he nodded his head gently. As he looked over some, and bought some Oranges, and some Apples, as he look at her, and kisses her head. Looking up to the sky, his tail feathers ruffled, as he felt something. Blinking he shakes his head, as he rubs his head. 

It felt like someone was watching them, as he raises his eyebrow, but tired to brush that off, as he huffed, and looked at his love with a smile.

Smile forms on his face, as he gently takes her, and places her down. Holding her hand, lacing it, he smiles as he nodded his head. “That sounds like a plan!” Smiling he then kisses her cheek, as they headed towards the city together. 

Watching everyone come too and fro, as he smile gently and looks around. “So where is this place?”He asked streatching a little bit, as he laced his hands with hers. 

Cherish felt the ground under her feet and smoothed out her short pink skirt. She lanced her fingers together with his and giggled. The two went to the city as I was busy as always. People either waved or say hi and bye. Cherish wrapped her arms around his arm “Just north a few more blocks, I can pick up n the strawberries.

A slight gasp came from him, as he felt his heart stop. Falling to the ground, he held his chest, as he spat up blood just like that, as he held his head. He could feel his nails grow, his teeth grow everything about him was growing, as he held his head, and growls under his breath. His face turned pale, as he shake his head, as everything went white, and then nothing. 

Waking up he pants, as he licked his mouth which was dry, as he shivers a little bit over how  cold he was. “What the-” Looking down at his hands, he then saw the nail. “No! NO! What!?” Going over he then tried looking inide a puddle, but couldn’t see his reflection. “Oh come on!!! Really?” Getting up he winced in pain, as he sighs. “Great…just great.”

Smile forms on his face, as he kisses her cheek, and just holds her, as he kisses her neck here and there. As he just carries her, as he walks down the field. “So tell me darling what shall we do today?” He asked tilting his head upon carrying her.

It was the only safe place where they could be husband and wife. Sadly.

Cherish still had her arms around his neck and smiled at him kissing her cheek and neck. Cherish looked up and then back at him “Why don’t we go for a walk in the city, heard they got some terrific treats and sweets on sale”

Smile forms on his face, as he gently takes her, and places her down. Holding her hand, lacing it, he smiles as he nodded his head. “That sounds like a plan!” Smiling he then kisses her cheek, as they headed towards the city together.

A smile forms on his face, as he patted her hand. “I am such a handsome, amazing dork! Haha! I even impress myself!” Laughing he then looks at her, and kisses her nose.

Gently then lifting her up in his arms, he then spins her around, laughing and giggling. As he kisses her lip tightly, and loving like. “You know how much I love you, every single day I miss you, and care for you.”

Cherish sighs slightly at being patted by him. She’s not a fan of that, but what can you do. She rolled her eyes and laughs “Yes you are, Panchito” she told him. Cherish blushed again at the kiss on the tip of her nose. In a blink of her eye, she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck holding on tightly. Cherish kissed him back and broke the kiss to hear what else he has to say “I love you, miss you and I care for you as well” she kissed him again only deep.

Smile forms on his face, as he kisses her cheek, and just holds her, as he kisses her neck here and there. As he just carries her, as he walks down the field. "So tell me darling what shall we do today?" He asked tilting his head upon carrying her.

Cherish lanes against the wall to hear him rambling on about how much he loves her and such. She couldn’t help but giggle lightly. She’ll never get tired of him no matter what happens. Cherish blinked when he was calling her a beer, that made another giggle escape from her lips. Cherish strengthen herself back in her original position.  Cherish blushed when he kissed her hand. Cherish smiled again “You’re such a dork, but your my dork, Panchito”

His breaths went rigid, as he felt the urge to kill, everything flashed before his eyes, he didn’t even have time to react to this situation. Opening his eyes he saw within his vision a men and a woman that he just slaughtered before his eyes, his hands and nails full of blood. As he gave off a scream, and falls backwards. The moon making the blood that was spilled shimmer, as he skids on the ground, and starts running. 

Breaths turned into pants, as he could feel the blood upon his lips. Some blood slipped, almost a bloody path, as he ran to the park. His only hope, he dove into the water, as he snarls over the fact that the water hit his skin, almost making it painful, and like sharp needles to come to his body. 

Washing his hands, his whole body was trembling, as he kept on whispering “no, no, no, no!” over and over again, as he tried washing the blood. He then heard someone come, quickly getting out of the cold water, he pants, as his white eyes stare up. They already seen him, as he looks up into the person’s eyes, he gives off a snarl, and get’s into a defensive stance. One leg out, and one leg in, as his whole body was trembling. He was a monster, a demon, and he didn’t want to hurt anyone.

Even though he just did. 

Cherish picked up on the scent of blood. It made her sick. The way the blood is combined with the wind made the air fowl. Since she’s a Mamodo, their noises are ten times sensitive than humans. Cherish walked over to where the source of the smell was and saw the bodies piled up. It was a sickening sight, it was like she’s in a horror movie. Her ears picked up on a faint sound and walked over to see who did this. To he surprise, she sees Panchito covered in the blood. She was stunned “P-P-P-Panchito…. why?” she asked him under her breath.

Growling he looks at the woman that was in front of him, as he shakes his head, and looks at her. The stench of blood, was all that he could smell right now, as his blood stained clothes as he shakes his head. “Get away from me!” Whispering that he shakes his head, as he kept on pushing her away from him. 

He wanted to be himself again, as he then starts running away, skidding on the ground, as he kept on running. Just like that he ran, and ran, hiding in an abandoned building, as he shakes and grabs his head. “Go away, go away, go away.” Whispering that he rocks back and fourth as he shakes his head.
