looking for opinions on the new site’s rules, so far we’re looking at it like this:
cp is explicitly banned. this includes underage creators (including aged up), characters played by underage creators, canonically underage creators, and aged-down adult creators
incest & noncon are banned.
shipping material of creators who have stated they are uncomfortable are banned. shipping rules are “opt-out”, meaning content banned is due to creators having explicitly stated they do not want to be shipped. this includes technoblade, eret, jschlatt, etc. minors are considered to fall into this category by default.
shipping rules for characters generally follow what the ccs have said, except in situations where otherwise stated. (i.e., quackity is okay with shipping his dsmp character, but not himself.)
nsfw content on the other hand is “opt-in”, people may not upload nsfw content of creators who have not explicitly stated they are okay with such content.
“problematic” creators are allowed to feature in fics. i.e. a6d, jschlatt - we believe banning one but not another would create a double standard.
groomers, predators, and abusers (i.e. callmecarson, voiceoverpete, creepacreech) are not allowed to feature in fics uploaded to the site under any circumstances.
thoughts?? suggestions??
additionally not a rule but content wise information that may be beneficial to know: we permit any content relating to mcyt or adjacent creators, even if not directly related to minecraft itself
our site encompasses mcyt rpf (within reason), dream smp, smpearth, smplive, origins smp, epicsmp, hermitcraft, team crafted, the cube, mianite, x-life, any other smps, minecraft manhunt
