Adar's Search History
Saw this hilarious post by @valar-did-me-wrong and kept it in my drafts for quite a while. Last weekend I got inspired, but instead of just answering, I made a small batch of memes. Enjoy!

Robert Aramayo LILIES NOT FOR ME (2025)
Yeah sorry Elrond, hun, but Iām pretty sure Tolkien hated you.

Maglor: Bedtime, children
Elros: One more hour, please!
Maglor: No. Time for bed
Elros: *pulls out a knife*
Maglor: I'm not scared of you, Elros
Elros: *hands the knife to Elrond*
Maglor: ...one more hour then
I know the ROP writers were limited in how much they could have deviated from the canon, but I would have loved to see Sauron's plans just fail massively because Adar keeps killing him.
He thinks he can manipulate Adar into going to Eregion...but Adar decides that if there's even a chance he's right about Halbrand being Sauron, it's better to kill him now. So when Sauron is smirking with his head at Adar's feet, Adar chops it off.
It takes Sauron centuries to reform, and he's pissed. He heads straight to Mordor to kill Adar... but by this time the uruks have developed a kingdom, and it's harder to get in. When he does, Adar senses it's him and forces him to fight wargs, similar to gladiator matches. Sauron does not win.
Almost a millenium later, Sauron reforms and goes, "Fuck it! I'll take care of Adar later!" And goes straight to Eregion. But by this time, the uruks and elves have an uneasy truce. It's stronger in Eregion, which is a multicultural hub of activity. The rings are formed...but Adar is able to interrupt before the One is made, and he reveals Sauron's true identity. He shoves Sauron into the forge.
By the time LOTR happens, all Adar has to do is step out on the battlefield for Sauron to surrender.
