the story goes that, as he faced Overhaul in his penultimate fight with the monster of a man, little Erio assisted Deki with her quirk to prevent his limbs from blowing up, rewinding him back to perfect health until he fight was over.
the fight that actually happened... poor Eri could not keep up with Deku, and while Izuku ultimately won the fight, he lost all of his limbs, and subsequently One For All.
after his mother there him off a bridge to his death, wishing him a better life next time, an unlikely ally saved him. and thus and even greater adventure began for him and Tenshi.
an adventure that would take them far beyond the borders of japan.
