Hello to all you kind peoples that have been kind to us and kindly listened to our musics; we thank you kindly for that, we do, hello!
As you may or may not know, we'll be playing at Dan's Silver Leaf March 12th for 35 Denton. We heartily recommend that you come out for just all the reasons. We love Dan's dearly, 35 Denton will have tons of great music, and - last but not least? - this will be our last show in Denton, in Texas, and in the region generally for the foreseeable future.
After considerable deliberation and a not-insignificant amount of stress, we (Dub, Jordan, & Will) have decided to pick up and move across country to Seattle in May. There are a number of factors that led to this decision, some professional and some deeply personal, but the long and short of it is that school is out - and I mean this quite literally, Jordan having recently finished his degree - and it's time for us to take the next step.
Denton is the place where we met each other, where Pansy Moon proper found its form, where we played our first show, and where the majority of Night on Elba was recorded. We've met some seriously intelligent, creative, and talented people here who've challenged, encouraged, and - at times, frankly - annoyed us. And honestly that's the fucking point, yah? Growing is a pain in the ass.
We greatly appreciate the love and support you've given us over the last few years, and in particular would like to thank all the musicians who've had the patience and commitment to perform with us. Alice, Dillon, Max, Richard, Sarah, Smitty, & Walker: you helped make this little thing possible and 'thank you' will never be enough.
Stay tuned in the next few weeks for a couple of pretty dope videos, and we hope to see you at Dan's next month.
As always,
much love and inappropriateness,
(XOXOXOX)
