"shh you made it you did so good youre doing so good"
I just changed out of this soaking wet diaper in the airport bathroom stall AND somehow managed to get a clean diaper on too, all while people used the other stalls around me...
Consider this caption a standalone holiday special. I don’t know if it’s going to be officially part of the story. But I wrote enough I might as well use it. As always, it features @ellaindiapers .
For a brief moment, Ella felt things were finally going her way.
After long overstaying their welcome, her parents finally went home. Having three people hovering over her, doting on her, and denying her adulthood was becoming unbearable.
The cherry on top of her parents leaving was the week-long Thanksgiving break at the university, which conveniently meant that the daycare would be closed, too.
More than enough time for Ella to end this charade and be back as a student when classes resume.
Ella convinced herself that the only reason Maggie held any power over her was that her parents were there. Once they left, Maggie would quickly realize she was no longer in charge.
At the very least, she thought Maggie would drop the performative act and relax the rules with nobody left to impress.
Ella’s optimism was short lived.
Maggie wasted no time proving she wasn’t putting on a show for her parents—she genuinely believed Ella belonged in the nursery.
What truly frightened Ella was how effortlessly Maggie shut down every attempt Ella made to maintain even a shred of independence and adulthood.
No matter how hard Ella fought, argued, or resisted, Maggie never ceded any ground. And, somehow, Ella inevitably ended up with her nose in the corner and tears in her eyes.
By now, Ella could write detailed reviews for every brand of bar soap. Not for how well they cleaned, of course, but based on how they tased, how much they made her drool, and how effective they were as a deterrent to “talking back.”
And it hadn’t even been long since this all started.
Ella shuddered whenever she thought about it. In the span of days, Maggie managed to completely take control of Ella’s life, molding her into the baby every thinks she is—and there was nothing she could do to stop it.
Unless something changed—and quickly—Ella would be stuck as a bratty toddler in diapers under constant supervision for who knows how long.
But her more immediate concern was what Maggie planned for today.
Friendsgiving.
Soon their apartment would be overrun with Maggie’s friends—all freshmen, of course—gushing and doting over Maggie’s “new baby.”
Ella stared blankly at the long shadows of her crib bars, not even pretending to be napping. As usual, her diaper was drenched without ever knowing she was tinkling.
If it weren’t for Maggie and this stupid daycare program, she would be getting ready to go party with her friends and drunkenly stumble home later that night. The night before Thanksgiving never disappointed.
It will this year.
Ella’s tummy rumbled, though she knew it wasn’t the type of rumble that preceded pooping her diaper.
The intoxicating smell of roasting turkey, stuffing, and who knows what else filled her nursery. She would never admit it, but if the food tasted half as good as it smelled, Maggie would have to be some savant.
Light suddenly flooded the dim nursery. Maggie smiled at Ella as she approached her crib.
“I see someone is already awake!” Maggie coos as she checks Ella’s diaper. “And soggy, too! Come on, squishbutt, let’s get you into a dry diaper and changed into your special outfit for today!”
“S-speacial…out-outfit?” Ella groaned. She did not like the idea of a “special outfit.”
“Duh, Ellybelly! It’s our first holiday together! You deserve something to celebrate the special occasion!”
Ella winced at the way Maggie emphasized “first.”
In typical fashion, Maggie changed Ella’s diaper with expert efficiency, something Ella would never complain about.
“Go take a look!” Maggie suggests when Ella gets off the changing table.
Had she seen a baby wearing the outfit that Maggie laid out for her, Ella would have squealed in utter delight.
But she wasn't supposed to be the baby in the outfit.
“Isn’t it adorable?”
Taking advantage of Ella’s stunned silence, Maggie pulled the onesie over Ella’s head and snapped the buttons. By the time she slid on the skirt and centered her bow, Maggie was practically shaking. She wondered if her face would be sore tomorrow from smiling this much.
Maggie knew the outfit was egregiously infantile—and that Ella would hate it.
But that was the point.
She didn’t want to embarrass or humiliate Ella; her job was to protect and nurture Ella. And that meant she could no longer pander to Ella’s adult sensibilities.
An adult would be embarrassed wearing diapers, onesies, and adorable skirts with turkeys on them, but a baby wouldn’t give it a second thought.
Slowly easing Ella into her second childhood would only prolong Ella’s suffering with needless hope and mixed signals. She could not treat Ella like a baby one moment and an adult the next. No, Ella needed Maggie to be firm and decisive, and most importantly, consistent, even if she would never have asked for it.
“Ahhh, Ellybelly! That outfit is sooooo cutie patootie! You look great!”
The doorbell rang before Ella could muster a response. She couldn’t take her eyes off the ridiculous turkey on her skirt.
“Ohhh crap, they’re here!” Maggie shouts, uncharacteristically flustered. “Well, no time. Take my hand, little one.”
Ella desperately needed to slow down, yet the walk to the door was so quick, it felt like she teleported. Before she could blink, the door was swinging open and the shouts of five girls erupted all at once.
“Come on in, girls!” Maggie bubbled, gesturing for everyone to come inside, “You can put everything right there on the table.”
So far, nobody had noticed Ella, who was doing her best to blend into the wall.
“Where is the little one we’ve heard so much about, Mags?” one girl asks.
“Hmm, she was right behind me a second ago.” Maggie looks around before finding Ella. “There you are, silly girl! No need to be shy! Come meet everyone.”
The girls squeal in unison the moment Ella waddles over in her Thanksgiving outfit, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt.
Talking over the “oh my god, she’s adorable!” and the “that skirt is so cute!” Maggie shouts, “This sweet thing is Ella, but I call her Ellybelly!”
“Hi, sweetie! It’s nice to meet you! I’m Daisy.”
Two weeks ago a nerdy looking girl like Daisy wouldn’t have dared to talk to Ella—let alone talk down to her like this.
Not that Ella could blame her; it’s impossible to take someone in a turkey skirt and diaper seriously. Even if they’re older.
The other introductions were just as hard to swallow. There was Lily and Tessa, who worked with Maggie at the daycare; Jasmine, who sounded like she was France; and Jessica.
Jessica was the only one Ella recognized, having seen her at a few bars. She clearly had a decent fake ID or was attractive enough for bouncers to look past crappy one. Ella would have respected that not so long ago.
Now Ella just hopes she won’t poop her diaper in front of everyone.
“Okay, we have an hour until the turkey’s ready to come out,” Maggie announces, “And guess what Amazon finally delivered?”
“Please tell me it’s Cards Against Muggles,” Tessa says, “I’ve been dying to play.”
Maggie opens the package and shows everyone.
“That’s not the only surprise!” Jessica says, reaching into her oversized purse. Glass clangs together as she pulls out two bottles of Yellowtail Chardonnay.
“You told me your sister said no!” Maggie laughs.
“That’s why I said ‘surprise’ Mags! I know this is your favorite!”
“You would like that cheap wine,” Ella quips before she could stop herself.
Every girl looks at her with the same half-bemused, half-annoyed expression.
“Sweetie, the only bottle you need to worry about is the one Maggie fills with milk before beddiebye,” Jessica retorts, “Leave the wine to the actual adults, kay?”
“Jessica!” Lily scolded, “That’s no way to talk to her! Poor thing.”
“What? She’s the one who insulted Mags!” Jessica argued.
“And you’re supposed to be the mature adult—not her! Maybe you need some time in daycare too?” Tessa said, smiling.
“The least you can do is apologize to her, Jess. You know, be a role model,” Lily added.
Maggie finally stepped in. “I think you both owe each other an apology.”
The girls obviously weren’t used to the authority in Maggie’s voice.
“I’m sorry for being mean, Ella,” Jessica apologized.
Ella tried to ignore the faint derisive smile from Jessica.
“What do you say, Ella?”
“I…I’m sorry, too…” Ella muttered.
Lily and Tessa surround Ella, congratulating her for being such a big girl—Ella could tell why they were hired at the daycare.
“Anyway…” Jasmine laughed, “Can we play?”
“Go sit down everyone, I’ll get the bottle opener and glasses.”
Not knowing what to do, Ella followed the girls to the couch, sitting on the end next to Lily.
“Oh, Ella, this game is a little too naughty for you,” Lily said, “Maggie laid out some markers for you to color while you do tummy time.”
“Fineeee,” Ella whined, turning away from the girls and that annoying way they looked at her. Like they actually believed Lily that she was better off coloring than playing a simple game.
Maggie passed out the glasses and bottle opener as Ella laid down on her tummy, wishing she was invisible. She never saw Maggie heading her way.
She wiggled when a finger slid into the leg holes of her diaper.
“Not too wet, Ellybelly. You’ll be fine for a bit. I brought you a bottle of grape juice and your binkie if you want it.”
“T-thank you…” she whispered, taking the bottle of grape juice.
“Now you look just like the big girls!” Jasmine added unhelpfully.
Ella focused on her coloring; she couldn’t bear to watch the girls drink wine and play games while she was doing tummy time.
And what she would give for a glass of wine instead of grape juice.
“Do you smell something?” Jessica asked.
“What? Is the turkey burning?” Maggie fretted.
“No, no, not that. I think you might want to check on Ella..”
“Oh, thank god,” Maggie sighed.
“I can do it, Mags. Don’t get up.” Lily offered.
“Thanks, Lily!”
Ella was growing increasingly more frustrated with herself. Coloring in the lines had never been an issue for her, yet she saw mistakes everywhere.
She was reaching for the red marker when her skirt was flipped up and her onesie snaps quickly opened.
“H-hey!”
“Uh oh! I think you made a poopoo, honey! Were you having my too much fun coloring to notice?”
“I…I…”
“I’ll change her,” Maggie says as the oven timer went off.
“Maggie, you’re not the only one here who can change diapers,” Lily said, “Besides, I’m sure I’ll change this stinker here soon enough in daycare!”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive. You go handle the turkey. I’ll handle this one.”
Ella hated having them loudly discuss changing her diaper in front of everyone like she wasn’t even there.
But she hated being in a poopy diaper more.
“C’mon, little one. Let Auntie Lily get that tushie clean.”
Ella took her hand as Maggie gave her directions to the nursery.
The laughter of the girls was bad enough. But Jessica’s comments hurt the most.
“So, like, she’s a full baby now? Like or real for real? She just poops her diapers and takes naps? I could never..”
Obviously the sexual side of cgl is fun but I really do adore the sfw side of it too.
Getting to kiss someone’s boo-boo’s, give them bubble baths, spoon feed them, etc. feels so special.
Taking a grown up that’s perfectly capable of doing these things on their own and having them willingly surrender all of their big kid responsibilities is such a sweet thing
there’s just something about a pull-up or a diaper subtly peeking out of shorts or a skirt that makes me feel so little. imagine going on a date and then you go back home only to have him pull off your shorts and see you’re still in pull-ups…
