Hey there, call me Moon! This is my sideblog for general and fandom agere content since my main is mostly for reblogs of other stuff.

I’ll be posting headcanons and fanfic here. Probably some moodboards and icons/edits if anyone is interested. And of course reblogging some other agere creator's hard work to help boost their good good creations!

His birthday was coming up. Cody only knew that it was because he happened to overhear Sofie say something about an April Fool's day prank that she wanted to pull over on Dale. He hadn’t realized it was so close. Shit, he was going to be how old again? It never felt important to keep track of his own age after he had turned eighteen, but now? Now his age was starting to get serious.

If he had done his math right, then he was going to be thirty.

But he didn't feel thirty, though in all fairness he never truly felt his age. It was just another day as far as he was concerned. At least, that's what he told himself—he'd been telling himself that very thing ever since he turned fifteen. And he believed it, mostly. Except for when he didn't. Cody managed to believe it in the days leading up to his birthday, and thought that he would manage it the day-of too. It was just another Tuesday. Or it should have been just another Tuesday.

After the hectic few months Cody had gone through after his abrupt awakening into the Unsleeping City, a Christmas party with all of his friends should be relaxing. And it wasn’t that it was unwelcome—there was just a lot tied up in it.

However, the party wasn’t just another Christmas party. Sure, that’s what everyone was calling it, but there was so much more riding on it. They were celebrating the defeat of Null and the protection of the waking world and the dreaming world. Of ousting Gladiator from New York City. Of the birth of Langston. Celebrating the expecting parents, too, now that things were settling and everybody could take a minute to breathe. Celebrating that despite the odds, things hadn’t gone to shit. That Sofia’s husband had come back to her. (And maybe, just a little bit, to celebrate the fact that him and Pete had moved into a new apartment together. As tiny and cramped as it was, it was theirs.)

Something wasn’t right. Apart from the whole aged up by a ghost thing. His eyes were hot, and his vision was starting to blur. The fluorescent lights in the hospital room were taunting him and making his hands look an odd shade of green. Was he sick? Was that why he felt so weird? Why did his brain feel so...scratchy? Like an old Christmas sweater.

Without knowing why, he sucked in a shaky breath and held it. To keep from crying, but why the hell would he do something like that?

Truly, I should be thanking you for enjoying my sillies—that one in particular was a post I did up for myself, so I'm tickled that someone else was able to find comfort in it. Cody is such a little guy to me, and his relationship with Pete has always been one of my favorites so! It felt like the natural progression of things?

There's also something to be said about Pete being the Vox Phantasma, and how his connection to the dream realm would be amazing for any regressor. But I do think that when Cody is small he would be especially wowed by the things Pete can conjure up because of it. Pete isn't the new kid on the block anymore, but he's more than happy to guide the new kid himself.

Now that the season is almost over, can I say that I think Maxwell and Wealwell should regress together? It'd be so cuteeee. Also Zood feels like it would be great for regressors?? Not just because of all the wonderous places and things, but also if the magnamensa is a thing I'm certain there's other potential plants or some such that could lead to some more magical (regression) shenanigans.
