đď¸ How to Make an Origami Crane Bird (Easy for Beginners)
Do you want to make a paper bird? In this post, youâll learn how to fold an origami crane step by step. Itâs fun, easy, and great for kids or beginners. All you need is one square piece of paper!
â What You Need:
A square paper (any size works)
A flat table
Your hands and a little time!
đ Easy Steps to Fold an Origami Crane
Step 1: Fold the Paper in Half
Fold the paper corner to corner. Do this both ways. Then fold it side to side. Make sure the lines are neat.
Step 2: Make a Small Square
Use the lines you made to fold the paper into a smaller square. It should look like a diamond when you hold it up.
Step 3: Fold to Make a Kite Shape
Take the sides and fold them to the middle line. Do this on both sides. Then fold the top part down. Open it back up.
Step 4: Shape the Bird
Lift the bottom part and fold the sides in. Youâll now have a shape with long points. These will become the birdâs neck and tail.
Step 5: Make the Head and Wings
Pick one end to fold down. This makes the birdâs head. Now pull the wings down. Your crane is ready!
