In which I pray for few papercuts

I used to be really into origami when I was an eight year old. I honestly wasn’t very good at it. But I still really relished affecting the transformation of a piece of paper into an animal or a flower or, more often, a ripped crumpled ball of paper. I’ve decided in these last couple years to invest more of my energy into my happiness, so in that spirit, I’m saying hello to that little eight year old and starting a bucket list item of mine: folding a thousand cranes. They say you get a wish at the end of the process, so I assume my thousandth crane will come to life and grant me a boon. I’ll update you when that happens.
