first of all, i love you to pieces and lover is such a beautiful album and you are an unstoppable force!!!!! and it really shows that you’ve grown and matured and are more politically engaged. so imagine my surprise seeing your name missing from this list of 140 musicians who’ve teamed up with planned parenthood to fight against legislation that would deny access to abortion across the US.

you have declared yourself to be pro choice- which of course comes with the choice of abortion which is, in my opinion, an essential human right that should be provided to those with uteruses! this medical procedure shouldn’t be threatened by ANY lawmaker, and you standing with planned parenthood could be EXTREMELY beneficial. your name and the number of followers you reach…….. yup!!!!!

PLEASE share pp links/ info of non profits, to your 100m+ instagram followers, this is a matter of healthcare in your country after all.

dear taylor,

i have had this black and white framed poster of you in this exact spot in my room since 2013. it’s always been right above my bed, and no matter how many times i redecorated my room and grew out of different paint colors, this poster remained forever pinned to my wall. but that’s the thing, i’ve never outgrown you. you and your music have been one of the only things in life that i have loved immensely and consistently. the timeline of my life thus far is not divided by school grades, or birthdays, but by each era of your musical career. it all started with your debut album when i begged my piano teacher to let me perform ‘tears drops on my guitar’ at my piano recital. then the fearless album when i woke up on my fifteenth birthday with my alarm singing “you take a deep breathe and you walk through the doors,” which made me feel brave as a wide-eyed and tiny freshman in high school. speak now tour was my first concert ever which sparked my love for live music. speak now also gave me ‘mean’ which i listened to in order to give me hope of better days on more than one occasion in middle AND high school. red practically made me the romantic that i am today when i had come to the conclusion at 11 years old that i would meet the love of my life on a wednesday in a cafe. 1989 released at a great time in my life but has been so useful to me when my happy days were no longer so constant. my mom and i used to listen to my 1989 target deluxe cd on repeat in the car on our way to and from my ballet practice every night. upon my first listen, i decided that ‘you are in love’ would be my first dance song at my future wedding; i was so positive of this that i wrote down in the notes app on my phone. but even years after its release i was still using the many messages in those songs and applying them to so many different situations. when i was a sophomore and my best friend decided to stop talking to me one day out of the blue, i had never felt more alone and even after a year of not speaking a word to her, i still missed our friendship. i needed closure even after all of that time and so i drove by her house while listening to ‘clean’ on full volume and took one last look at the place that i had been so many times. “and by morning gone was any trace of you,” i was finally clean and i never had any disdain or anger towards her again after that night. reputation tour was when i was able to finally secure tickets that weren’t in the nosebleeds to see you. and i had the time of my life that night. and now, lover has arrived just in time. because today i drove away from my small town and towards a brand new and very big city for college. i have grown with you and because of you and i am going to continue to use the lessons you’ve taught me as an adult in this place i now call home. my mom has made sure that i never lose the way that i dance around in my pj’s getting ready for school but it is time for me to do some growing up. i used to scream the words “someday i’ll be living in a big old city” and the day i dreamt about is finally here. here’s to the new era which has perfectly arrived in time for the new era of my life as well. thank you for everything you’ve done for me without even being aware <3 @taylorswift

We had an instant connection when we first started talking. But what really brought us together was your music. We video chatted every day until we met in person. Frank has came to visit me twice and I went to go visit him. He will be coming to see me again. The long distance is hard but we really love each other.
