@papermarioaesthetic
hi i made something
update: i finished my little 3D Bobby animations! if you’re interested in checking it out, i put together a quick video of the rendered cycles:)
WIP: i recently got my wisdom teeth removed so when i tried to think of what art i could make under post-op circumstances, my mind immediately jumped to “3D bobby”
anyway hopefully i’ll be able to squeeze out a final version soonish
shred the rich
the game:
me: h heh....and th.....and they............and they were rooomma
the game, like literally the next line:
hello hello!
haven’t been here in a hot sec, but with the origami king’s release, well...there is clearly new paper mario stuff to discuss! huzzah! also, i’ve noticed a slew of newcomers lately. welcome funky fresh folks. sorry i’ve been dormant.
if i post things here, would it be alright? i’d probably keep it pretty spoiler-free, but i’d definitely make sure to tag origami king-related content as such.
also want to make a point: if you’re coming here looking to engage in some nasty paper mario discourse, you might be better off elsewhere. that’s not the kind of energy i want around.
Favorite Paper Mario Quotes
Hey y’all! I’m experimenting with some new ways to be more involved with my followers, so I thought this would be a cute idea.
If there’s one thing every Paper Mario game has in common, it must be its sharp writing. From the N64 title to Color Splash, Paper Mario loves to take Mario series clichés, video game tropes, and even pop culture references and flip them on their heads for every adventure. Even characters who are normally speechless in mainline Mario games come to life with witty, sarcastic, or downright funny lines. What are your favorite quotes from any Paper Mario game?
I’ll start with mine. I’ll do one from every game:
Paper Mario
The Thousand-Year Door
Super Paper Mario
Sticker Star
Color Splash
Let me know what your favorite lines are!
hmmmmMMMMMmmmmm..............
Sticker Star Log Day ???
is the day after sticker star’s anniversary a good day to say i haven’t organically thought about the game in months
sorry if you've been asked this before, but which paper mario game is your favorite? mine has gotta be super paper mario, no contest :P
No problem! It’s hard for me to say – I also really loved Super Paper Mario, but I think my overall favorite has to be Color Splash. The battle system in The Thousand-Year Door is undoubtedly the best, though!
Five years ago, Paper Mario: Sticker Star was released in North America to perhaps the most polarizing reception of any Paper Mario title. Though the game returned to the turn-based battle system Super Paper Mario left behind, the removal of partners, leveling-up, and original characters left fans wondering about the direction of the Paper Mario series. What are your favorite memories with Paper Mario’s sticky sequel?
sorry i’ve been gone but odyssey and college apps have captured my attention but tbh odyssey really gives me color splash vibes so have some chef toads freaking out

real talk: youtubers who post mario odyssey spoilers and make the thumbnail itself a massive spoiler actually suck
oh yeah no problem
It’s been a little over a year since the release of Paper Mario: Color Splash, the fifth entry in the Paper Mario series. Though it continued the controversial direction of its predecessor, many thought its sharp script, polished art style, and even improved battle system all signaled a step in the right direction. What are your favorite memories with Paper Mario’s paint-ful adventure?
