Seo met his gaze, brows crinkling in displeasure. "Oi. Why're ya staring so much?" She paused before a look of realization washed over her features. The eye bags. The awkwardness. "A NEET turned pervert, huh? If you think I'm pretty, you should just say so."

Loose Ends || Teufel and Anri
Finally. After travelling the distance from the castle and after climbing up those painful and tiring flight of stairs, arriving at his destination and assigned living space was absolutely fulfilling. He deserved a rewards— ah, how he wished to sleep in a king’s sized bed right about now— k i n g. Right, he cannot forget about the King’s main orders for having come here. Grasping the concept about the city’s theme was still being a difficult task, but avoiding his own would end in a salary cut and that was most important to him.
What a bother… such a bother.
Opening the door to his housing, he casually enters and blinks, examining the interior with his usual droopy eyes. The design that was present among various accessories and furniture was quite appealing. (There also seems to be little signs that denote the someone else living here before him, but he chooses to ignore that.) The theme of the night sky; it was very calming— right to the point that it had increased his chronically lazy habits by ten fold.
Giving a long yawn, Teufel drops his belongings as he sluggishly walks a few steps forward, only to collapse onto the middle of the apartment out of exhaustion.
Face pressed onto the ground and back arched into the most uncomfortable position, the butler slowly slips into a nice little nap, carelessly leaving the door open and everything else littered along the floor.
Night. The condo was enveloped in it. Dark curtains let in the tiniest bit of light, the muted rays flickering in and out of existence with each gentle breeze. Soft blankets offered warmth and comfort like that of clouds. Anri dozed on the couch, her petite figure snuggled between the blankets and pillows. On the floor, feeble sunlight danced but affected not the environment of dreams. Although slumbering, heavy features sometimes lifted to paint a smile on her peaceful face. Her dream had begun to recur again, her life returning once more to normal. Dreams gave the sleeper comfort, provided an escape and a consolation from the reality given. If she could, Anri would choose to live in that dream. Her father was happy. Her mother was smiling. Anri loved and was loved. Normally, she would be given a few hours in that reality, the one farthest from the truth but was tangible only in the world of dreams and hopes. Now, however, she was cut short. A thud. Not loud but loud enough interrupted the girl's sleep. Eyes opening slowly, Anri sat upright with some effort. Once vision adjusted to the darkness of the condo and was centered on the collapsed person, Anri jumped from her seat. Rushing over to the boy, slender hands hovered in the air above him. Questions rose to the front of her mind. Aside from what she should do, his identity was near to her first priority. Glancing toward the open door, she caught sight of his belongings and connected the two. He was her roommate. Unable to spend more time on the thought, as she was already panicked with his condition, Anri bit her lip before placing her hand lightly on his shoulder. "E-Excuse me? Are you alright?"
Ayano yawned, her legs slowly taking her through the familiar route back to her house. It was the end of another tiring work day, and she wanted to go home and take a nice rest more than anything.
With her mind preoccupied with thoughts of a warm bed and a cup of hot chocolate, she didn’t notice someone else walking in front of her.
—Ouch!
Though Ayano was clumsy at times, she came to a realization as she collided into the stranger moments later. Compared to everything else she’s ever done… this was definitely not one of her finest moments. Who bumped into someone walking in front you, anyway?
"Oh gosh! I’m s-so sorry…"
"Ah!" Thoughts ending in one breathy gasp, Anri fell backward. The ground rushed to meet her and the gasp was cut short. Blinking, brown eyes stared dumbly up at the other half of the collision. Anri wasn't so much hurt as she was caught off guard. There had been no one else on the road and yet she had bumped into another person. Perhaps, she had been too lost in thought again. It was slowly becoming a bad habit that ought to be changed. Head tilting to the side with that thought, the parasite agreed with herself and nodded minimally before circling back to the situation at hand.
Standing up quickly, hands brushing off the clinging dust on her skirt, Anri shook her head and bowed. "N-No," She protested, feeling warmth rising to her cheeks. It had been her fault and yet someone else was apologizing. How embarrassing. "It's my fault. I'm sorry."
After the brunette thanked the gondolier and walked up the mini set of stairs that connects to the streets of Koi. Natsume had wanted to go to the cute little boutique again to find more cute cell phone charms. She had been quite obsessed with them. On her way, she brushed against someone’s shoulders. She got too excited where she didn’t even look to where she was going. Oh no. Natsume didn’t mean to bump into them.
When she looked over to see who she bumped into, she saw a girl who seemed to be lost in her thoughts. A tourist? Or resident? The raven looked really mature and had a touch of natural beauty. There were only a few people who can pull off the natural beauty look. This girl in front of had made it look easy going out without make up. Natsume had only wanted to fit in with the other girls back in her hometown and so she was use to putting on make up. Though she didn’t put a lot on. Just concealer here and there, mascara for her lashes, and lip balm on her lips.
"Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention towards where I was going. Did I hurt you?"
With her gaze cast to the stony path, Anri was caught by surprise by the force to her side. The streets had been vacant for the most part and so the collision had been unexpected. Feet stumbling awkwardly over one another, Anri righted herself after too inelegant hops. The motion reminded her somewhat of a bunny but that itself brought memories of an eventful chase. Raising her head, two lenses flashed the muted sun as Anri focused on the girl in her screen. She was reminded of the girls back home, although the one in front of her wore less make up and was considerably more polite. One couldn't judge another by appearance alone, anyway. Make up didn't make one more or less kind. Even Anri who wore little to none wasn't good.
Thoughts stretching the silence between them, Anri interrupted the lull in conversation with a gasp of surprise and a following apology. Hands sliding in front of her slender form, Anri bowed. "I'm sorry." Looking up at her, she shook her head. "N-No, and you?"
I have three replies to do! Sorry some are late, I didn't get the notification. Anri's muse isn't working atm but I'll get to them as soon as I can!
Empty streets called for a full mind. Echoing footsteps bounced softly off of the stone walls, calling for the curious glances of stray cats. With her gaze trained to the ground, Anri did not see the climbing sun, only the stretching shadows from the buildings and lampposts.
A sigh. She had moved here to start a new life. It was her own decision, a choice for her own self preservation. Anri was lonely, yes, but she no longer had a place in Ikebukuro. She no longer had a place with Kida or Mikado. The parasite continued to walk, heavy feelings and their acceptance weighing on her shoulders. Memories made her weighty but she knew she would soon place them in the past and walk on. Like always. She would continue onward.
WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
"Um..." A voice just above a whisper left opened lips. Brown optics widened and laid their confused gaze onto the mechanical creature. "N-Nowhere in particular?" The answer wasn't much of an answer and Anri almost gave in to the urge to apologize. Taking a step forward, Anri began to bow her apology for such a lackluster reply but the robot was already on its way. "Ah..."
