Hi!! I ams a new roleplay/ ask account for—as it looks like—the parentless teen from NINAH aka my baby she’s such a cutie pie

I’d adopt her

But that last bit is off topic. Anyways. My askbox is open for character centered asks, or things like that..if that makes sense. Every response I give will be as the parentless teen. This is. A rolplay account!!! Hooray. Just don’t tell my friends you saw me here.

I’ll put a few things down here for anyone who intends to send an ask or just be here for the sake of being here :)

For the basics…if I start a response to an ask with:

OOC: that means the response is out of character. Maybe to shut down an ask, or maybe the ask was intended to be answered OOC! If that’s the case, just slap a giant OOC at the start of your ask so I don’t make a fool out of myself and make stuff awkward

Any text in the bold font, typically a role play action. IE:

She wraps her arms tighter around the bag she’s been holding so lackadaisical this whole time

I’m not a good roleplayer, so I won’t do this if the person in the ask doesn’t :) (I’m a big ol WUSS!!!!!)

I’m pretty good at getting to asks, but I consider myself a very busy woman(if you consider doing nothing all day busy)../….really, I’m not on tumblr every 5 seconds, so if I take a minute to get to an ask, ples don’t pull a gun on me.

I didn’t have much to say down here anyways, but my most important thing:::

A 6 years old girl wanders around the house with her best friend: Mr Ted Ted. She walks into the kitchen and sees a teenager. The girl notices her nails and a bracelet .

The abandonment girl: WOWIE! HOW DID YOU GET THESE NAILS PAINTED?! THEY'RE SOOO COOOLLL!!! I WANT THEM!!! OHHH! AND WHAT A SUCH PRETTY BRACELET!!! DID YOUR FRIEND GIVE A BRACELET FRIENDSHIP?! WOWIE!!! CAN YOU PAINT MY NAILS? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE 🥹🥹🥹

*Per usual, the teen is oblivious to the new entry. There’s someone new every day, so why bother any more? Her grip on her ratty blue bag has since fallen slack, and head is tilted back in obvious boredom. Truly, she looks ready to fall asleep…until—*

“ ! ! ! “

*The girl’s sudden yelling and excitement shakes her wide awake, one leg raised away, her bag now clasped in her hands as though this little girl looked like a thief. Her shocked persona falters quickly as the kid keeps talking. Her eyes stray to the kid’s teddy bear, to her curled hair and childish outfit, all fitting to her tone and stature.*

*The realization that she’s just young and all too curious—both rare sights nowadays—strikes the teen in an obvious, and she softens up. Once the kid stops talking, she catches a breath and shrugs out a reply.*

“…Hey kid. I painted them myself a while before all this sh—uh…—stuff, went down. And yeah this bracelet was from a friend.”

“ . . . “

“Tell you what; if you find some nail polish around this joint, I’ll do your nails for you. Alright?”

(the woman stared at her awkwardly, biting at one of her nails. She wasn’t the best socialist but something about the teenager felt intriguing to her. Maybe now she finally had the courage to talk to her)

*She looks up, gaze lackluster and very obviously careless to the company. Her arms tighten around the ratty blue bag she hauls around, and she chews her tongue for a quarter of a second before responding

“Yeah. I was just let in last night.”

“…I mean, thankfully. Fuck. It’s so hot out there even at night.

*The teen takes note of the clearly anxious personality of this person, and chooses not to question anything in return.

A similar sized teen walks up to you, and he looks unsure of himself. He's not really sure what to think about the house around them, but he's pretty sure he's in the same situation as you, or so he thinks. He was most likely interested in actually being able to understand someone better in this house full of adults that dismiss him.

*She stands silent for a minute, even as the boy speaks, barely sparing him a glance as he steps closer.*

*the longer the new face lingers in the room, the more he becomes an object of curiosity, finally drawing the teen’s gaze to him with unadulterated attention.*

*Its unspoken yet prominent in the air why he came to loiter around her, so she ultimately chooses not to question it as she pulls her bag closer instinctively.”

“Sure, if you want to I guess.”

hey.. uh.... do you think that guy in the coat is an alien? i swear i saw antennae on him.

maybe visitors are just aliens, y'know? that would make sense. maybe his ship crashed or something. he won't let me talk to him, though.. i don't know why.

The girl raises an eyebrow at the tin-foil hat on the person who’s just walked into the kitchen.

“Uh. Maybe?”

“I dunno. But where was the antenna?”

“…Visitors being aliens is a pretty good possibility. Hey, maybe you know something we don’t.”

“But he seems kind of reserved anyways, I doubt you’ll get a word in with him.”

“I guess there’s apparently some woman in the house who was a cashier?”

A small-statured person peeks in the kitchen, the dim light boucing off their giant glasses. Seeing only the teen's inside, they enter, almost toppling over with their oversized backpack.

Oof, sorry, this is...phew...a little heavy. Got a few more field samples tonight. Maybe more than a few...

A-anyway, I brought you something!

They slam the backpack on the kitchen tiles with the sound akin to a dozen boulders crashing together, and start to dig through its pockets.

Eventually, they pull out something shiny and colorful. It's a bracelet, suprisingly undamaged! Tied with a read thread, it bears a multitude of varied charms — little stars, flowers, hearts, the biggest one being a cricle with a somewhat wonky smiley face.

Here! I'm handing these out to all the friends in the house, Coat Guy, Wireface & the Homeowner all already have ones of their own.

It's not great, and you could probably beat me a dozen times in the creative department but, uh, I hope you like it...Or at least don't feed it to the cat. Please. The little guy could choke on the charms. Seriously.

-For the most part, the teenager is relatively careless about the entry of this new person. She glances up to stare at them, raising an eyebrow at their rather large glasses, and then letting her judgmental gaze wander to his comically large backpack.-

-Even as they step further into the room and begin to speak, she stays quiet, just silently blinking at them. Her attention is only really caught as they announce having brought something.-

-The second their backpack crashes to the kitchen floor, the teen flinches away from the noise, but then curiously cranes forward to see the bags contents. Unfortunately, all she sees is pockets on pockets.-

-When they finally finish rummaging through the bag stand back up, the teen admires the object in his hand. A cute, rather colorful bracelet. For a second, she believes that they’re simply showing it off, but then the person says something that the teen mostly misses, and passes it towards her.—

“You’re handing these out? That’s pretty sweet.”

“…”

“Maybe it’s not great, but nothing really is anymore, so…”

“But hey. I appreciate it dude.”

-With the faintest hum, she takes the bracelet and examines it loosely before slipping it into her bag for safe keeping. Wouldn’t want it getting lost!-

“I actually already have one! I keep that one in my bag too, though…took it with me when I left home.”

-She stays quiet for a second as they mention the cat and advise her to be wary of the kitty’s well being. The teenager glances down at the cat—who’s since wandered into the kitchen.-

“Yeah I uh. Won’t feed it to him. Maybe people are all evil and stuff nowadays, but I’m not.”

“A few weeks or so I think..”

“I mean—I had a house. I just left.”

“But anyways. Can’t say I’ve seen anyone out and about either. Not like it’s common to see anyone outside nowadays.”

“…I’ve been chased outta stores too if it makes you feel any better.”

“Typically on the rare occasions I get caught stealin’ stuff but…uh. Still.”

“…Hm. Maybe there’ll still be an orphanage standing or somethin’. Do orphanages take teenagers?”

I don’t really mind them at all. If anyone needs to add a footnote to an ask for any reason, then I encourage it whole heartedly!

he pushes open the kitchen door with one hand and looks around, he sees a fortune teller and,, oh no,,! a child..? no, teenager, still bad though.

he takes his hand away from the door and walks over to her, taking his hands away from his neck and looking down at her, the firey red locks,, the backwards hat,, she looks like one of those.. troublemakers, although, he isn’t one to judge

crouching down slightly he brings his hands to her shoulder and pokes her to get her attention,, not realising how.. jumpy this girl is with touch.

he KNOWS he won’t be able to understand what she says but he feels quite concerned, like,, where is her parents? or guardian? or ANY adult to help her?

-For a minute, she looks as though she’s zoned out. Staring very intently at, well…nothing in particular. Not like there’s much to stare at nowadays.-

-But, when this new man prods her in the shoulder, she flinches where she stands and coils against the fridge at one sight of the man. His bloodied lips give her a sense of dread, and she clutches her bag harder…as though that’ll help. But the way he glances at her with something that translates to ‘worry’ causes her to ease up.-

-Nobody else in the room reacts to the exchange, or the man. Eventually, she shifts her body away from the fridge and back into her previous lackadaisical position. Very quietly, she attempts to read the odd man in front of her, but to no avail. After a few seconds, she slowly opens her mouth and speaks pretty slowly, trying to pry her eyes away from this eccentric man’s blood-covered mouth.-

“Do…you need anything?”
