I made it through to Edmonton. There were so really lousy road conditions most of the way. But I'm safe and comfy and being hosted by a very dear friend. I'm very very grateful. This innocuous photo is documenting the ministry of forest lands natural resources conservation officer grinding the lock off my neighbour's garage while two other of their employees prepare to tow away my neighbours' boat. Worthy of note is that the boat is the basis of my neighbours' livelihood. The house that will be demolished, perhaps by the time of posted this picture, was the family home of my dearly departed friend Mary Wright, and until being forced out by the ministry, the home of her youngest son.
