“H-How did you find me?”

“You always liked coming here. Well, we all did actually at some point. But, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?” She twirled a strand of her dark brown hair and smiled softly. It took all his strength not to drop the coffee in his hands upon just stepping out of the cafe and coming face to face with her.

“What are you doing here? You’re not supposed to-” He stumbled over his words.

“To what?” She raised an eyebrow before crossing her arms and letting out a quiet laugh. “You look pretty much the same minus that bleached hair. It looks nice on you though.” She tilted her head to examine him and he turns away, refusing to acknowledge her compliment.

“Why are you here? Why did you come back all of a sudden?” Jimin raised his voice and she tutted immediately after in disappointment.

“Why so angry? That’s so unlike you. You weren’t like this before-” She pouted.

“People change. You of all people should know.” Jimin fired back at her, his fist tightening around the coffee cup. She simply brushed her brown hair behind her shoulder and scoffed.

“I moved and transferred schools, not disappeared from the face of the planet.”

“Wouldn’t that have been a better alternative?” He muttered quietly under his breath but loud enough for her to hear. “And I wasn’t referring to you transferring. You know exactly what I mean…”

“I want to see Jungkook.”

“Don’t fucking go near him…” Jimin said through clenched teeth.

“You think he’s not going to come to me? Wait until he finds out I’m here. I won’t even have to look for him.” She shot him an innocent smile.

Jimin didn’t know what to say. Part of him desperately wanted her to stay the hell away from Jungkook, but deep inside he had a sinking feeling that she was right. Either way, there was a very high chance Jungkook would come find her himself. Who knows what he’d do in the fit of rage?

“You shouldn’t be here.” He tore his gaze away from her. Hadn’t she hurt him enough?

“I want him. I didn’t come here to argue with you. I just want to know where he is, and well I figured I’d be able to find you here at least.”

“As if I’d tell you fucking anything.” She shot him one last smile before turning to walk away, knowing fully well Jimin wasn’t about to guide her straight to Jungkook. At this point, he was most likely going to warn him about her return, hopefully. And Jungkook? He was going to come running once he found out she was here. She was sure of it.

Whether Jimin was going to tell her of Jungkook’s whereabouts, she was sure she’d be able to find him if not vice versa.

“You’ll tell him I’m here, won’t you?”

“He’s not going to come running back to you, Yoojung.”

“Well, we’ll have to see, won’t we?”
