Day6 Reaction: Their GF is crying because of exams

Jae: He understands the pressure of exams and would try everything in his power to get her mind off of it. Going out on more dates, staying in and just cuddling, showering her in affection and just generally upping his boyfriend game. Would clear his schedule and/or drop everything he’s doing whenever she calls him in distress or hears that she’s crying. Constantly says how great she’ll do and halfheartedly threatens to beat the professor up for her.

Sungjin: Approaches his gf’s stress in an almost motherly manner. Shows his support through making her meals, making sure she eats right and enough, taking on more chores so that way she doesn’t burn herself out. He’s more of a love through gestures type of guy and goes out of his way to show his support by cheering her on, helping her study, etc. Seeing her stress makes him kind of stressed which is sweet in a way. Is more relieved when exam season is finally over more than she is.

Youngk: As someone who really understands the stress of exams and wanting to pass, he takes it all in stride. He takes her through some stress relief tactics, and makes sure to remember what works and what doesn’t. Is an excellent study-buddy and quiz partner even though he doesn’t understand her major that much. Throws himself into comforting her like it’s his new job. Is very reassuring but also realistic. Wants to make it a point that even if she doesn’t pass it isn’t the end of the world and that he’ll still love her no matter what.

Wonpil: Wonpil absolutely hates it when his gf cries and sympathy cries with her. It’s actually surprisingly therapeutic for the two of them and it ends up going into a small giggle fest at how ridiculous they look, all tear-stained cheeks and messed up hair. Would absolutely sing her to sleep and play soothing music for her to help her relax after a long day of studying. Always keeps snacks and tissue on hand and is there whenever she needs a good cry.

Dowoon: The first time he sees her cry he scoops her up into a ball and cradles her. There are little words said, but he strokes her hair and gently rocks her. Would make her her favourite meal and would sit down and talk about why she’s stressed. He makes a pretty good therapist he finds out, but would do whatever she wanted to help her relax. Shower her with compliments and say how stupidly evil exams are. Jokingly says that they can just become sheep herders as a backup plan.

DAY6 Reaction: Idol S/O fainting on stage!

Sungjin would immediately get up and meet you backstage; he wouldn’t even care if fans learned about your relationship. His main priority was making sure you were safe. 

Jae would laugh at first, thinking you fell or made a mistake, but when he saw your members screaming for help, it was like someone took his ability to breath. He would be shaking the rest of the night, worrying if you were okay and if he did anything to cause your fainting. 

Young K would get pissed. His main job in life is to keep you safe, and he thought he could trust your management to keep you safe and healthy, but he was wrong. He would go back to find you and in the process go off on all your management for letting you get sick and fainting on stage. 

Wonpil would cringe at the sight of you falling and fainting. He knows how hard you work, and he would always warn you about overworking yourself, but he admired your determined personality. He would be very gentle and caring with you, but would have a “I told you so” moment so you learn from this experience. 

Dowoon wouldn’t know what to do. So many thoughts and emotions were going through his head, he honestly was just out of it when you fainted. Watching your limp body being carried off the stage brought him back to reality, and he couldn’t help but shed some tears at the thought of how helpless and sick you were. How did he not notice?

You swallowed hard looking in the mirror, you weren’t good enough. That didn’t surprise you, Taeil was hands down perfect and so was his ex. She was tall, skinny, no thigh gap, very soft spoken and smart. You were none of those, you had more struggles than she ever would, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt when your boyfriend chose her over you. Your hands ran over your stomach before you began playing with your skin, when will you be good enough. A tear fell on your cheek as your lip quivered.

The feeling of someone’s arms wrapping around your waist, made you jump until you looked back to find Taeil. His usual smile was instead a frown.

“Did someone say something to you last night?” he whispered against your skin, giving you goosebumps, “did they make a joke about your food portion or your weight? I swear if they did I’ll—” you cut him off, “None of them said anything.”

You pulled away from his grasp before you put on your robe and headed to the bedroom. Taeil was now officially confused, following you back to the bedroom and watching you change into sweats and a baggy shirt.

“If you’re gonna leave me for her, just do it now so I don’t have to keep waiting for you to do so,” you mumble.

Taeil’s eyes widen, “excuse me? Leave you for who? I’m not going anywhere unless you tell me to go.”

“I overheard your conversation with Yuta about your ex, and how she made you choose between us. Now you have to tell me that you’re leaving me for her,” you say, looking up at him, “I’m not dumb Taeil, just get it over with and I’ll be out of your life.”

Taeil stared at you for a second before walking over and sitting beside you, “I’m not leaving you for anyone, Y/N. You’re the love of my life when I told Yuta that I needed to tell you, I meant I need to tell you about her texting me and saying this stuff to me, not that I was choosing her over you.”

“Then why did you say that nobody was better than h/e/n?”

Taeil looked at you confused before chuckling and shaking his head, “I meant nobody is better than you, that’s what I told h/e/n, I can show you the texts if you want.”

You shake your head and smile slightly, “that’s okay, I believe you, I’m sorry I didn’t trust you before.”

“It’s my fault, I should’ve been smarter with my words and I should’ve told you right away,” he mumbles kissing your temple, “but I’m not going anywhere okay? And I’m definitely not leaving someone as perfect as you for anyone. Okay?”

“Okay,” you say with a smile before he pressed his lips onto yours gently.

MASTERLIST || SUBMIT A REQUEST || Part I

“I don’t know, man, I don’t trust him,” Minho whispered, and Thomas and Newt nodded in agreement.

It had all been a blur, first losing almost all your friends in the Maze, then being put in this peculiar place where they fed you well and gave you a place to rest. They all seemed to be led by a man by the name of Janson, who was rendered suspicious by your friends.

They all sat on the edge of their beds, formulating a plan while you were forced to lie down by Newt and get some rest. However, all you could do was stare at the top bunk, listening to their hushed words, embracing Newt whose back was to you as he talked to the others.

Newt’s hands toyed with your arm as he shifted in his seat. “Tommy, we don’t even know what’s out there. We’re treated well here, we’re safe.” His voice softened. “I can’t make Y/N suffer anymore, Tommy.”

“Newt, bud, if Thomas really saw what he said he saw, Y/N’s going to suffer more here than she will anywhere else,” Minho said, jumping down from his top bed. “I care about her too, shank. But Thomas is right. We need to leave. I don’t want us to risk losing anyone else.”

Newt exhaled in frustration. “Fine.” He said, his voice trembling. “What’s your plan?” You took this as an opportunity to sit up and rub Newt’s back comfortingly.

“Aris knows this place from the cafeteria to the exit. I say  we take that route and let Aris take the lead.”

“Let a complete stranger take the lead? Then what, Tommy?” you continued comforting him, attempting to shush Newt silently.

“Newt, we haven’t known what’s going on for as long as we can remember. We have to just work with what we have.” Frypan reasoned.

“Yeah, that’s what we’ve been bloody doing for four buggin’ years! And I’m shuck tired of it!” Newt exclaimed in exasperation. Then he stayed silent. “Sorry. Get on with your bloody plan, none of us know klunk anyways.” He began to lie back on the bed, looking up, avoiding your gaze. You didn’t speak until everyone was settled in bed, and that didn’t happen until after Thomas set his idea clearly.

“Newt, baby, calm down, okay?” you whispered, stroking his cheek.

His eyebrows scrunched. “I can’t risk your life again. Not after Chuck and Alby…” he trailed off.

“Thomas doesn’t know what’s happening either, Newt. He needs your support as much as I need it.” You joined him now, pressing your cheek against the blade of his shoulder.

Newt hummed. “But Tommy and I… we don’t share the same priority.” he snaked his muscular arms around you. “His priority is to make sure everyone stays alive… mine is to make sure nothing ever touches you except me.”

“We’re gonna find a way out of this mess, Newt… just stay alive.”

“I love you.” He turned to face you. These nights outside the Maze, he always had nightmares about basically everything unless he holds you. So you smiled as he squeezed you against him and pressed his lips to your forehead.

“I love you, too.” You placed your hand on his back.

After what felt like an eternity, Newt had pleasant dreams that night.

“Hey, lover boy, rise and shine,” Minho called, shaking him abruptly, then he whispered to him. “Act natural. We’ll get the hell out of here and make a run for it when we go for breakfast. Pack some water and whatever. Make sure it’s light.”

And those were the last, sane words you heard for a very, very long time.

Apparently, the outside world was a deserted wasteland. After a wild two days, you found the Right Arm – where the girls who supposedly stayed in Aris’s Maze got settled in. You smiled to yourself. You and Newt could build a new life here.

After three days, you got quite comfortable with this place you’re learning to identify as your home. You began socializing with the other girls, who were very lovely. But just a day in, it hit you like a ton of bricks.

These girls are really pretty, you think, turning to Sonya, who was chatting with Newt and Minho. And she’s giving Newt the heart eyes.

It was true. The girl was being a little too touchy, and of course, Minho noticed. You caught him subtly pushing Newt gently away from Sonya, which was quite touching, really, because you caught Minho stealing a glance at you and winking.

However, Newt was oblivious as can be. He still had his warm exterior and he laughed politely at all of her jokes. You shrugged it off, though, but the burn of insecurity in your chest couldn’t be ignored. You took this opportunity to sneak to one of the tents that had an old mirror. You stared.

There was no way you could compare to Sonya or any other girl here.

“Y/N?” Newt slipped in the tent, looking at you in confusion. “…what are you doing?”

You shook your head, not looking at him. You felt his calloused hands on your stomach and his lips on your neck.

“This is the first time I saw the two of us like this…” Newt muttered against your lips. “Beautiful.”

Without even thinking about it, you scoffed.

Newt paused. “So, Min was right. You are upset.”

You made what sounded like a whining sound. “I swear, Minho’s gonna pay-“

“I’m sorry, love. Please do tell me what I did.”

You looked at your feet, but you could still feel Newt’s eyes on you.

“It’s Sonya, isn’t it?”

“Newt, everyone here has been talking about ‘the Brit with the limp’…I just don’t want to lose you to them.”

“That’s just the biggest piece of klunk I have ever heard.” Newt sat down on the nearest chair and gestured to his lap, telling you to sit.

You took your place on his lap and you trembled as he breathed on your neck and snaked his arms around your waist. “I have nothing to say about it, love. Just that I’m bloody sorry for making you feel that way. I should have made it clear that I can’t have eyes for someone who isn’t you. I can’t.”

He looked at you with passionate eyes before continuing. “I’m gonna build us a life, love, I promise you. You can give me as many buggin’ children you want and I’ll take care of you no matter what.”

And that is how you knew for sure that Newt would risk anything for you.

A/n: ok it’s kinda short and also kinda bad…I wrote most of it at like 1 am last night so hope you still like it!

Your chest heaved with every quick breath you took, your mouth quickly drying out. The sweat gleamed on your forehead causing loose strands of hair to stick to your cheeks and your lungs burned from your long distance run. The only sounds were the thumps of your tennis shoes hitting the hard stone ground and your quick breaths. You didn’t stop, not even to get water to cure your dry mouth. If you stopped, it would hurt more to start again. Your eyes were glued to the turns and corners in front of you which was the reason you didn’t see the large root until it was too late.

You flew forward and landed hard on your right arm, a loud crack echoing off the walls. You clenched your teeth as an unbearable pain shot through your whole arm and you rolled onto your back, squeezing your eyes shut before sitting up and looking at your elbow. It looked perfectly normal so you began to pick yourself up, using both your arms to push yourself up. You instantly fell back onto the cement with a cry in response to the amount of pain in your arm.

You stayed down for another minute until the pain wasn’t as bad before attempting to stand up again. This time, you didn’t use your right arm. You used the ivy covered walls to pull yourself up and get you onto your feet. You winced as you took a step forward, for your ankle had also suffered from the fall. You took small limpy steps forward, trying hard not to cry out due to the pain in both your arm and your ankle.

After about half an hour of painful limping, you found the Glade.

“Newt!” You called loudly as you reached the doors, stumbling into the glade. “Newt!” Y

Newt had been your best friend the moment you arrived in the glade. He had always been there for you, through the good and the bad and if you trusted anyone to help you, it was him.

“Y/n?” Newt asked, a concerned tone in his voice as you saw him jog towards you, stopping only when he stood before you. “Y/n why are you limping? What happened?”

“I-I can’t move my arm.” You said in a panicked tone as you looked into his dark, concerned eyes, tears pooling in yours.

“Y-you what? What happened Y/n?” He asked as he placed a hand on your broken arm. You winced and a smile cry escaped your dry lips.

“I tripped. I think I broke my arm and sprained my ankle. Newt I can’t move it, please help me to the medjacks.” You pleaded, a year falling from your eye.

“Of course! Yeah! Here.” He went to your left side and draped your good arm around his neck, holding your hand tightly in his as he moved his other hand around your waist.

“Thank you Newt.” You said softly as you limped along beside him, occasionally flinching from the pain in your ankle.

When you finally reached the Medjack hut, Newt helped you onto one of the beds and went to go find Jeff or Clint. You were crying by the time they came back.

“Y/n? Love? Are you alright? How badly does it hurt?” Newt said quickly as he stepped in front of you, pushing a stray piece of hair away from your damp cheek.

“I can’t move it.” You repeated looking from Jeff to Clint and then at Newt who looked the most concerned out of everyone. “I tripped on a root in the maze and fell on my arm. There was a loud cracking sound and then I couldn’t move it. It hurts a lot. So does my ankle. I think I twisted it when I tripped.”

“We’ll get some painkillers and then take a look.” Jeff said as he turned to the cabinet and shuffled through some pill containers. Newt stepped closer to you and raised your chin with his fingers so you were looking into his eyes.

“You’ll be okay love. I promise you.” He spoke so softly you couldn’t help but believe it. You nodded and bit your lip and squeezed your eyes shut as another wave of pain traveled through your arm. “And Y/n?”

You opened your eyes once again and met his warm, comforting eyes. “Yes Newt?”

“This may not be the best time to tell you this…but…” Newt’s gaze traveled to the floor before looking back at you. “I really really like you Y/n. I might even love you. I just- I’m sorry if this is the wrong time or anything but I-”

“Newt,” you said softly, a smile spreading across your face. “This was the perfect time.” You reached up and grabbed the front of his hoodie in your fingers with your good arm and pulled him towards you until your lips collided. After he got over the shock of what had just happened, Newt placed his arms around your waist and took control of the kiss, deepening it to his liking.

When you pulled away, you ran your fingers through his disheveled golden locks and he leaned forward, kissing your forehead lightly.

“So how’s that arm?” He asked, his eyes darting to your limp arm beside you.

You knew it was broken which obviously caused a great load of pain, but at the moment all you could feel was his kiss on your lips and the butterflies in your stomach.

“Oh. It doesn’t hurt at all.”
