Parker ✉️ Rebecca
Rebecca: We can't save them all! We have a baby... plus how do you think Penny's gonna feel? She already has to share the attention with Aubs.
Rebecca: Please tell me you didn't get a chinchilla.
Parker: I know, but we can save two. Wait until you see them, you'll see why I couldn't resist. Penny will be fine, she'll be excited to have other dogs to play with once she gets used to them. And Aubree will love them! She's gonna be just like me.
Parker: No, but I know a guy.
Parker ✉️ Rebecca
Rebecca: I married a crazy person...
Parker: You married someone who cares about helpless little animals and doesn't want them to live in cages!
Parker: How do you feel about chinchillas?
Parker ✉️ Rebecca
Rebecca: ...I took Aubree to see Phil and Linz for 3 HOURS and oh my god, you went to the shelter didn't you.
Parker: It's Keegan's fault! She's been snapchatting me puppies for days now!
Parker ✉️ Rebecca
Parker: I may or may not have another puppy.
Parker: Or two.
Rebecca: watched as her husband stripped off his shirt and stared for a moment. It had been a while since she had gotten to enjoy the view and suddenly, she started to feel slightly insecure. This was the first time her husband was going to see her naked since she was at about 16 weeks. Then, her belly had been a bump, a tiny little thing that was almost not noticible. But now, she was definitely bigger and there were some stretch marks along her belly. Once he got into the tub, she took his hands and stepped in after him, making sure not to fall.
Parker: helped his wife step into the bathtub, staring at her the entire time and instantly noticing the look in her eyes. "You're more beautiful than you've ever been," he promised her, his voice full of sincerity as he leaned forward to kiss her lips softly before kneeling down to pepper kisses along her chest and stomach. The blonde male sat down in the tub, using his hands to guide Rebecca to sit down in between his legs with back pressed against his chest. The touch of their skin together was practically intoxicating as he leaned forward to brush his lips against her neck. "I love you."
Rebecca: let her hands fall from his face and rest on his chest, enjoying the calm between the two of them. She closed her eyes and relaxed completely in his arms, When he pulled away and spoke, one eyebrow shot up. She was curious when he kissed her and disappeared into the bathroom, but started to pick up the clothes and put them back on their hangers, feeling a bit silly that she had caused that big of a scene. She was slightly amazed at how much she had grown, since the sweater she was holding wouldn't fit her for at least another half year. She set it on a hanger before hearing her husbands voice and walked into the bathroom, her jaw dropping slightly. "This...is definitely perfect." she said, sliding her hand in his.
Parker: smiled as soon as Rebecca walked in, watching her eyes as she looked around the bathroom and squeezing her hand as soon as it was in his. "I figured it was something we could both use," he commented softly, pulling his hand free so he could pull his shirt off. Tossing it to the side before walking over to tug the shirt off of his wife, smiling at her once the fabric was over her head. "I've missed you," he spoke while removing the rest of their clothing piece by piece and leading her over to the tub. He tested the water to make sure it wasn't too hot before stepping in, turning to offer his hands to Rebecca to help her at the same time.
Rebecca: felt his lips move against hers and nodded softly, pulling away and resting her forehead against his. "I'm sorry too, baby..." she said as she looked into his eyes. She blinked a few times before pressing her lips to his again gently. She couldn't believe that this was happening and it all felt like a dream that she never wanted to wake up from. Her husband was here in front of her, kissing and holding her like they had before. But it was something they both needed, a comfort that that had been a long time coming.
Parker: finally opened his eyes to look at hers, feeling just as awestruck by her beauty as he was the day he met her. "I've missed you," he commented softly, returning the second kiss more eagerly than the first. It has been so long so he had felt her lips against his like this, had her in his arms and he didn't want it to end. "I have an idea, something that might help us both relax some more, I'll be right back," he said, kissing her quickly before disappearing into the bathroom. Parker started the faucet, letting the hot water fill the tub as he added some bath salts and pulled the candles they used to use together out of the cabinet to light them. "You can come in now," he said, turning to wait for her.
Rebecca: let go of the dresser and closed her eyes, trying to not cry as she turned around and looked at him. His last words hit her like a ton of bricks, just how broken the both of them were. They were the only two people who understood one another more than anyone else in so many ways. She walked towards him, cupping his cheek gently and letting him see the tears that were now making their way down her cheeks. " I love you. I love you more than I have ever loved anyone." she said, before she leaned up and pressed her lips to his. It was the first real kiss they'd shared in months and it was like the first time all over again.
Parker: could feel her moving towards, but he still didn't look up. He didn't like to show the weakness inside of him, even if Rebecca was one of the select few who had already seen it before. But when his wife's hands were on his cheeks and he was forced to look into her tear filled eyes, the little bit of resolve he had left was broken. Letting his own tears slip out, as his hands went immediately to her sides. "I love you too, Rebecca," he whispered before allowing himself to be overtaken by the kiss. Breath hitching in his throat and his heartbeat speeding up as their lips touched, "I'm so sorry." The words were mumbled between the kiss and the sobs threatening to come out.
Rebecca: listened to him speak and forced the tears that were threatening to come out back. "And you don't get what it's like for me. You weren't told that you were worthless, that no one was going to love you. It's not that I didn't believe you, Parker, it's that I wasn't believeing in myself. Because I still believe that I'm not worth it. Because no matter how amazing you are or how much I love you, I'm still the scared, insecure girl I was back in Lima." At this point, the blonde woman was gripping the dresser with one hand, the other resting on her belly, rubbing with her thumb gently. "I know you would never cheat on me. Just like you know I would never cheat on you...I said it because it was Russell and Jayson and every person who has told me I'm not good enough in my head telling me I wasn't. But that all hurts less than you avoiding me and look at me like you are. Because that is worse than anything they ever did to me."
Parker: looked away, focusing once again on the sweater until he looked up at. "The same way you say I can't keep punishing for the Lauren stuff, you can't either. You can't punish me for what they did, not when I've spent the last few years devoting my life to showing you how wrong they were. It's not fair to me, or to you," he commented, voice the softest and most sincere it had been with her in months, "Just don't leave me. I only said that because you compared me to your father and it pissed me off. You're still here because I love you, and even with things not being right, I wouldn't want to be alive without you. We'll figure it out, we'll make it better. I don't know how, but we will." The features on his face cast downward, the frown evident and not allowing her to meet his eyes at the moment. "Don't leave," he barely whispered.
Rebecca: kept pulling things out, rolling her eyes. "That's what you want isn't it? I fucked up, I made a mistake and this is my fault isn't it? I fucked up our marriage so why not just leave? Not like it matters anymore since you can barely tolerate sleeping in the same god damn bed as me." she said, moving over to the dresser and simply resting her hands on the top and staring at Parker from the mirror attached to it. "You either have to stop punishing me or let me go, Parker, because I can't live like this. I can't think there's hope or let the baby think there's hope when there isn't."
Parker: stopped as Rebecca moved over to the dresser, holding one of her sweaters in his hand and looking down at it. "This is what you were wearing the day you told me you were pregnant," he commented dejectedly and focusing on the clothing item in his hand until he finally looked up at her. "You don't get what it's like for me, Rebecca. Do you think I like not being able to look at you or that I like hesitating before I kiss you goodbye in the mornings?" This was the first time they had really talked since the paternity test, and Parker felt his entire body deflate. "I used to fall even more in love with you each time I looked at you. But now, I'm just reminding that it was so easy for you to doubt me and think I could cheat on you. I may have been doubting myself, and you may have had every reason to actually doubt me. I know that. But I thought we were strong enough, that you loved me enough, to believe in me until we had a hundred percent confirmation on whether it was the truth or not. But you didn't."
Rebecca: got to the third step before she turned around. "Okay, so now you think I would cheat on you with Joey? Or that I would let him do something? Go fuck yourself." she glared before she began up the stairs again. The minute he said that, she stopped in her tracks. She turned to him and shook her head. "Let me make it easier for you then. I'll move out. I'll go live with Phil and Linz or hell, maybe I'll just fly to fucking New York and live with Joey. You want it to be your house and stop avoiding me? Consider it done." she said before she continued upstairs and into their room, opening the closet and beginning to pull things from it.
Parker: finished his moment of being glad he had been able to top her insult, and hurt her more. But now he regretted it as he followed her up the stairs, letting out a frustrated sigh and standing in the door way. "You're not fucking leaving, stop," he said, watching her continue to pull her things out of the closet. The more she continued, more frustrated Parker got until he practically ran over to her and started to throw her things back in the closet. "I said stop! You're not leaving!" he yelled, the loudest his voice had gotten this entire time. Focusing on tossing each item she pulled out, right back in, not even caring if it crumpled on the floor. "Stop," he demanded once again.
Rebecca: crossed her arms just above her stomach, but the rage look didn't fit her right. The pregnant belly kinda killed the image. "Oh I'm sorry, /master/. Do I have to tell you everything? Last time I checked, you weren't interested in being around me. So I went and saw my best friend. And my arms were around him because he's my friend." She emphasized the word friend as she glared at him. The minute he brought up Keegan, she shook her head and walked towards the stairs. "You've got some nerve. Who the hell does and made you king because it sure as fuck wasn't me. You avoid me for /months/ and then I fianlly and then you decide to show up? Well, fuck you. You don't get to decide my life for me. You're turning into the one person you hate, and you don't even know it."
Parker: rolled his eyes at the sarcastic nickname she just used on him. "It's pretty common knowledge that you tell your husband when you're going to hang out with another guy," he retorted and practically laughed, "Friend, seriously? He's been looking at you as more than a friend since high school, and we both know it." Bringing up his own best friend had the desired effect, but before he could even give a victorious yet asshole like grin at it, Rebecca's next words practically made him freeze in place. "Don't you ever, and I mean ever, compare me to him again," he growled, the tone coming back to his voice because her dad was one of the sorest subjects when it came to him, "I would never fucking lay a hand on you or our child, and I sure as hell would never kick you out on your ass. Why the hell do you think you're still here?" The last few words practically spat out like venom, not even any truth to them because Parker wouldn't kick her out for anything. He loved her too much, despite their faults. But he needed to say something to get back at her for the comment about her father, and saying that the only reason she was still living here was because he refused to be like him was the best thing that popped into his mind. And he readied himself for the reaction it was sure to get.
Rebecca: narrowed her eyes at the blonde and just as she was about to speak, Joey put his hand on hers. "It's fine, Becks. You know where I'm staying if you need me right? And I'm holding you to our movie night before I head back." Rebecca nodded and kissed his cheek before he left and she glared at Parker. "You've got some fucking nerve. 'My house'? So what, I'm just mooching off you?" she said, her voice slightly raised. She was absolutely pissed. Who was he to avoid her for months and then tell her friends off. "Or am I like Belle and can't have a live? What's next? Locking me up in a tower?"
Parker: was pretty sure an audible growl came out of how mouth when Rebecca kissed Joey's cheek, body staying stiff until the other male walked out the door. His body relaxed now that it was just the two of them, the anger was still there but the physical rage left once it was just him and Rebecca. "It is my house," he replied, his voice just as angry as before but without the growling hint to it. "Why the fuck wouldn't you tell me you were hanging out with /him?/" he asked accusingly, ignoring everything else she said without giving it a second thought, "Is it too much to ask for my wife to let me fucking know she was hanging out with some dude without me finding out through instagram?" Joey was the least of their problems, but he was the only one that Parker was willing to discuss. "How would you feel if I started posting pictures with my arms all around Keegan without telling you I was with her?"
Rebecca: sat in the car with Joey, laughing hard at the stories he was telling her about his fellow cast mates. It was good to laugh again, to be able to smile genuinely. Ever since the fallout she had with her husband, she rarely let herself be happy but today was definitely needed. After having lunch with him and going to one final pre-natal check up, they decided to head to her house to watch Hercules and have some good old fashioned friend time. She got out of the car, Joey lending his hand to her since her belly made it difficult to stand on her own. She walked to the house, opening the door and ushering Joey in before closing it behind him. But when she saw Parker, she raised a brow. She put her hand on Joey's arm, shakin her head. "Joey, no. Stay." She said, glaring at her husband. "Who the fuck gave you the right to tell my friends to leave?"
Parker: watched as her hand went to Joey's arm, his body stiffened as he had to clench his jaw even tighter. "My house. I decide who's here," he said, trying not to raise his voice. Parker hated fighting, and it took a lot to get him to the point he was currently at. And be could count on one hand the amount times Rebecca had even seen this side of him, or anyone besides his family for that matter. "I'm not going to say it again. Get. Out." he practically growled, fists clenching on his sides as he continued to stare at Joey. Feeling his wife's eyes on him but he still didn't dare to look her way.
Parker: was sitting in the living room, staring at the picture his wife had posted just a little while ago which prompted Parker to leave work immediately. It wasn't a big deal, since he wasn't actually filming anything today, he just wanted out of the house because things were still weird between him and Rebecca. And now she was hanging out with Joey, without even telling Parker about it. Sure, they were best friends or something but Parker had felt uneasy about their friendship since high school. Listening as the car pulled up, Parker put his phone on the coffee table and waited patiently for the two of them to walk inside. Eyes already filled with anger and jealousy, staring at the door the moment they walked inside. "Joey. Leave." The words barely came out, his jaw clamped shut as he stared the other male down without even looking at Rebecca yet.
